The Archer Project is looking to recruit an Engagement Support Worker. Would you like to join our brilliant team? 🌟 We are open to considering job share arrangements! 👇 The purpose of the role is to build relationships with the people attending The Archer Project. This role will enable our wider team to deepen the impact of the support given to vulnerable people who experience homelessness and transform many more lives. The postholder will become familiar with our beneficiaries’ situation and circumstances, ensuring that everyone The Archer Project supports receive the service they need either through the Project, or by being signposted to partner agencies for holistic support. The postholder will also contribute to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all. Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience and qualifications. Contract type: Part-time, permanent. Work pattern: 27 hours per week (Monday to Friday, starting 8:00 am). Some out-of-hours flexibility is required. Location: Archer Project - Cathedral site (Campo Lane, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield, S1 2EF). Holidays: 33 days per annum pro rata (including public holidays). Pension scheme: People’s Pension is our pension provider. We contribute at the statutory rates (3% of salary Employer’s contribution) if you have been auto enrolled (after 3 months in post). Benefits: Subsidised meals when based at the main Project site. Free hot and cold drinks when office and / or Project based. Casual dress. Probationary period: Appointment subject to 3-month probationary period, which may be subject to extension. DBS check: Appointment subject to successful undertaking of an Enhanced DBS Check.
