At Halma, we embrace the spirit of Pride Month, standing alongside the LGBTQ+ community, and working towards a world where all celebrate acceptance, respect, and equal rights. Building diverse and inclusive businesses is fundamental to achieving our purpose. It starts with creating a culture of inclusion where individuals feel safe and empowered to bring their whole selves to work. This foundation expands by investing in equitable benefits that support all employees, enabling us to fully realise the advantages of a healthy and engaged workforce. This includes our global equal paid parental leave policy, designed with all parents in mind, including same-sex couples, to allow adequate time to care for and bond with their new children. Last year, when the rights and freedoms of LGBTQ+ were challenged, we were also proud to add coverage for gender affirmation and reassignment services in the US, our largest region by employee number.
