Are you running low on spoons? 🥄🥄🥄 You may be wondering what on earth that means?! The spoon theory was first introduced by Christine Miserandino who used it to illustrate to her friend how individuals begin each day with a limited amount of energy to allocate to various tasks. This concept is applicable to both neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals, though some may begin every day with more spoons. However, it is important for all of us to prioritize our mental and physical well-being to prevent long-term harm. During this mental health awareness month, Arcmed wants to shed light on burnout and share how adopting this approach to manage your energy levels could help prevent this and ensure you take care of yourself in the long run.
