🌿This Mental Health Awareness Month, Arcmed wants to highlight a tool to tackle stress and live more peacefully: mindfulness. 🌿 The term mindfulness comes from Eastern, spiritual and religious traditions. A great deal of scientific research now shows that a mindful approach to mental health helps diffuse high levels of stress and anxiety. Mindfulness refers to being completely in touch with and aware of the present moment, as well as taking a non-judgmental approach to your inner experience. It is about being present and noticing what is around you. So often, if we are not careful, we find ourselves racing through life, not taking the time to stop and appreciate our surroundings.
