Just finished the course “HR Foundations: Core Human Resources” by Wayne Cascio! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/dgVkpn4w #humanresources. Taking this course was an enriching experience, providing valuable insights into the complexities of human resources management. For me, a particularly key takeaway from the course was the notion that "People work for money, but they live for recognition". Indicating that while people may work for monetary compensation, it is recognition that truly fuels their sense of fulfillment and motivation in the workplace. Reflecting on my own experiences of feeling undervalued, I now understand the critical role recognition plays in employee motivation. This course has inspired me to advocate for a culture of acknowledgment in my workplace, fostering a more positive and supportive environment.
