As we commence Women's History Month, let’s take a moment to reflect upon the significant contributions that women have made and to renew our dedication to supporting one another. In the words of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, "as women achieve power, the barriers will fall. As society sees what women can do, as women see what women can do, there will be more women out there doing things, and we’ll all be better off for it." Let us, therefore, take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of women who have paved the way for us and to re-energize our commitment to creating a world in which women can thrive. By supporting one another, we can break down barriers and create a more equitable future for all.

#WeTheWomen #GlobalSurvey The global survey reveals women’s resolve to champion rights and representation in government. Survey results from 185 countries show that 86 percent of respondents cite climate change, and more than 50 percent identify conflict as a primary concern for the next decade. Mental health and family responsibilities are viewed as barriers to reaching their full potential. 07. Artificial Intelligence will be positive for many (Global Survey Results): More than twice as many women see Artificial Intelligence as an opportunity rather than a threat, but they expect negative effects in certain areas of life: AI receives mixed reviews. Overall, about twice as many (45%) view AI as an opportunity, while over 24% see it mainly as a threat, and 19% are not sure. Younger women (18-34 years old) are more inclined to see the positives in the impact of artificial intelligence -- 48% of them see AI as more of an opportunity than a threat, compared to 41% for older women. More positive views— about 50%—were expressed in every region except the West, where only 39% thought AI was an opportunity. Two-thirds of women worldwide think Artificial Intelligence is positive for their education, with less than one-third believing AI can positively affect their security and civil liberties. Women in Western Europe and North America are the only ones who fear the repercussions of AI on their jobs. #women #voices #beinspired #future #rights #representation #diversity #equity #inclusion #global #solutions #artificialintelligence #AI #STEM #STEMeducation #UN #SummitoftheFuture2024

Dear Women of the World Today, we celebrate the incredible strength, resilience, and contributions of women in shaping our societies. From nurturing families to leading movements for change, women play vital roles that enrich our communities and inspire future generations. Yet, despite these invaluable contributions, women continue to face barriers to equality, particularly in governance and leadership roles. It's time to break down these barriers and ensure equitable representation for women in all spheres of society, including governance. When women are at the table, decisions are more inclusive, diverse, and reflective of the needs of all. So, to all the women out there, I encourage you to stand tall, speak up your innovative ideas, and strive for leadership positions where your voices can be heard and your perspectives valued. Together, let's continue to challenge norms, break glass ceilings, and work towards a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive and make a difference. You are powerful. You are capable. You are the change-makers our world needs. Happy International Women's Day! #Nigerianwoman #lifeofpurpose #thegirlchildmatters
