Bind Fire is taking its first steps into the US market! For the next two months we will be based in New York at the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA). All this is possible thanks to the support of the ITA - Italian Trade Agency, which has selected the most promising Italian startups to guide them towards potential partnerships with companies and investors, and to expose them to the dynamic innovation ecosystem of New York. Bind Fire has developed and patented an innovative clean agent fire suppression system that does not dissipate the potential energy of the gaseous propellant, thus significantly minimizing the cost and carbon footprint of the system. The market for gas-based fire suppression is $3 billion and growing at 4%.

The afternoon was filled with terrifically informative sessions: - Sacha Dr. Wunsch-Vincent beamed in from Brussels. - Todd Ruppert gave a review of what's happening in the VC and CVC (Corporate VC) world and how Antler has evolved. - Troy LeMaile-Stovall, NACD.DC moderated a panel with Daniel Saunders, Dina Routhier, Emily Durfee. - Craig Bandes took us through Pixelligent Technologies and how their growth typifies the patience needed with tech startups. - Kelly Schulz asked how Maryland can become more of a force with global innnovation of Darryll Pines, Fiyinfolu Oladiran, Bob Ackerman, and Maryland's Secy of Commerce Kevin Anderson. - Kimberly Harrington provided an overview of how the US is prioritizing energy and working with foreign governments to do the same - pretty amazing! - Mark Anthony Thomas led the discussion on handling innovation with Daria J.
