Time for an animation test! This was for my 3d Animation class back in college and it asked me to both do lip-sync and also have the character move in some way. We had the liberty of choosing the audio so I went with this bit from Limmy's show. Model is by Christoph (The Stoff) Schoch if im not mistaken. Animation was made in Autodesk Maya and I had to record myself doing the action itself, still have the thumbnails I used as reference! #openforworkanimation #3Danimation

Here's a small animation test I did with Blender's Ellie model from their free character library! I'm beginning to apply lots of the techniques I've developed through digital 2D animation towards 3D character and prop animation! It's an absolute blast to work in 3D as well as 2D, and you can find more about this small test on my website at https://lnkd.in/eDpgFg2d

Another month, another showreel update! Since my last showreel, I've taught myself how to rig and apply movement to characters in Toom Boom Harmony using cut-out animation! Its been interesting to explore a different avenue of 2D animation and I'm happy with the results! Video animation I made during my diploma for my final year project. 3D model in Rhino 6, rendered and animation in Keyshot 9. Took quite some time to render the animation and edit it as well.

Short animation! Zorrito mate 🧉 I wanted to make a shot from scratch and practice a bit of everything: Character design, animation, background and comp are all original here! (Although the bg design is based on a Hobbitton set, oops) #2Danimation

Animation test of a (very work in progress) Godzilla model. This was my first animation using blender software and helped me further understand trying to make natural movements, especially for an unnatural creature design. Will further experiment with 3d animation in the future.

I recently completed my first creature animation and spent a lot of time focusing on understanding the anatomy and motion of animals or creatures. I also delved into animation principles such as overlapping action. I received much help from the SOPHORIA ACADEMY and learned much from their classes. I highly recommend their course, especially if you're interested in quadrupedal and creature animations. It has valuable knowledge, tips, and tricks that have significantly improved my animation speed. #animation

My first animation was created in the Maya program and depicted a cute squirrel in a hurry to get to his girlfriend. This scene was my first experience in 3D animation and I was thrilled with the process of creating each frame. This animation was not only my first experience in 3D animation, but also a source of inspiration and motivation for further creative projects. #animation #maya #characteranimation #3DAnimation
