When I first signed up at an academy, I thought I’d get a solid foundation......... Instead, I paid a fortune and learned close to nothing. They skipped over the technical stuff, didn’t cover industry insights, and left me to figure things out on my own. That experience was tough. Every skill I have now came from mistakes I made while performing live, from hands-on experience. It was far from easy, but that’s where the dream was born—to someday start my own academy where I’d do things differently. I wanted to create a space that taught students everything I had to learn the hard way. One-on-one classes. Real technical knowledge. No fluff, no shortcuts. And so, in March 2024, Stem Music Academy was born. It started small, in a converted storeroom in my house, turned into a studio. Not fancy, but real. And slowly, that space grew into something bigger—a place where students could learn without facing the same struggles I did. Today, the academy is picking up, and the feedback from students has been amazing. They love the hands-on techniques and practical guidance. Hearing them say, This is exactly what I needed is the most rewarding part of my day. Every day, we’re building this academy, one small step at a time. It’s still a work in progress, but I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come. And I’m excited to keep pushing forward, one lesson at a time 🤜 🤛 . #StemMusicAcademy #FromDreamToReality #HandsOnLearning #MusicEducation #MusicAcademy #BuildingDreams #EducationForAll #TechnicalSkills #GrowthMindset #EntrepreneurJourney #StudentSuccess #Music

What if education could flex around your child's dreams instead of the other way around? We've seen it work for: ☺ A student filming on Hollywood sets ☺ Young Olympic hopefuls training daily ☺ Musicians touring with youth orchestras ☺ Competitive dancers ☺ Rising eSports players Your child's passion isn't an interruption to their education. It can be the foundation of it. This is why we create personalized learning schedules that work with your family's real life - not against it. Your daughter has a callback at 2pm.' 'Your son has travel team practice every Tuesday.' Traditional school schedule: 😰 Open education: No problem. Sometimes the best learning environment isn’t a classroom at all.

🌟 Starting the Bridge Course with Some Fun: Box of Lies! 🌟 As part of our bridge course for first-year students, we decided to have a little fun with a game, Box of Lies! 😄 In case you’re not familiar, here’s how it goes: each team got a random object, described it to another team, and that team had to guess if they were telling the truth or just making it up. The tricky part? Trying to keep a straight face while doing it! The best thing? It got everyone talking! 🎤 This game wasn’t just about having a good laugh (though there was plenty of that!); it also helped students: ✨ Feel more comfortable speaking up ✨ Get creative with their descriptions ✨ Think on their feet ✨ Connect with their classmates through some friendly competition Seeing everyone loosen up and really get into it with their teammates was awesome. Who knew a simple game could get the conversation flowing so easily? I’m excited to keep bringing more fun, interactive activities into the bridge course and mixing fun with learning. That’s the way to go! 🙌 #BridgeCourse #FirstYearStudents #LearningAndFun #StudentEngagement #TeamBuilding

📚 Keep the learning momentum going this summer! ☀️ Did you know that practicing sight words can be super beneficial for our little learners (ages 3-8)? Here's why: 1️⃣ Boost Reading Confidence: Sight words are those frequently used words that young readers see most often in text, stories, and books read in the early years. By practicing them regularly, kids become more confident in their reading abilities. 2️⃣ Enhance Reading Fluency: When kids can quickly recognize sight words, it helps improve their reading speed and fluency. They spend less time decoding and more time comprehending! 3️⃣ Prevent Summer Slide: Summer break is fun, but it's also crucial to keep those young minds engaged. Practicing sight words over summer ensures they don't lose the progress they've made during the school year. So, let's make sight word practice part of our summer routine! Whether it's through games, flashcards, or fun activities, let's keep those reading skills sharp. 🌟 Explore Sight Word Games, Activities, Videos & Printables Here: https://lnkd.in/e-dqM-i #SummerLearning #ReadingFun #SightWords #Heartwords #FoundationalSkills #RighttoRead #EarlyLiteracy

🎉 Classroom Fun Alert! 🎉 I just did the most exciting warm-up activity with my #students, and it was a blast! 🤩 It took about 15-20 minutes , and it had everything: movement, #teamwork, and some serious thinking! 🧠 Here’s how it worked: - I hung sheets with random words on the walls around the #classroom. - I called out a number (e.g., "Number 3"), and one student from each team had to quickly go and gather the word next to that number from all the sheets. - They rushed back, gave the words to their #teammates, and the challenge was to order the words into a correct sentence— before time ran out ! ⏳ The best part? The activity not only got the students up and moving but also helped them practice sentence structure, vocabulary, and teamwork—all while having SO MUCH fun! 🙌 Definitely a winner in the #classroom. I’ll be doing this again for sure! 💡 #ESLteacher #ClassroomActivities #StudentEngagement #TeamworkInLearning #LearningCanBeFun #WarmUpGames
