I met Beth back in the late 80's at the Belmont Horse fair (Week of the Belmont Stakes). We had a booth next to Ariat and I will never forget the story of how she got the name Ariat. Those were great times, I even met Penny Tweedy there!

I was privileged to get the back story on her when visiting the launch of the robotic picking system in the new Haslet facility. Innovator is definitely a good word to describe her, and super cool to learn how she pivoted and the explosion of the brand in the western industry. Maybe now, us Texans will start pronouncing the name of the brand as she intended.

Congratulations Beth Cross! Ariat is one of the most amazing, iconic, and innovative brands out there. You had a vision and you kept going with it. Ariat wouldn’t be the brand it is today if it didn’t have you as the leader. You are truly an inspiration and much deserving of the induction into the Hall of Fame! Now the question will be what Ariat boot will you wear to the ceremony? :)
