History tell us that the best defence against inflation is to invest in global equities. Most GTM professionals have: 1) Active company pension in a default solution, typically with 20% - 30% in 'lower-risk' (government and corporate bonds). 2) Multiple old pensions from previous employers left languishing in various default solutions. 3) Too much in cash savings, depreciating year-on-year with inflation.
