Recently, the skincare business Asaya, which targets skin tones high in melanin, earned Rs 12 crore in seed money. This capital round, led by OTP Ventures and Huddle #Ventures with additional support from Eternal Capital, supports Asaya's objective to broaden its market penetration and advance its product development. Two important regions will receive the new capital infusion: Research & Development: Asaya intends to use the #money to further investigate and create customized skincare products made for skin that is high in melanin. Market Expansion: Over the course of the next year, the company hopes to increase the number of its customers from 20,000 to over 250,000. This represents a major increase in its market reach.
