Empowering Mid-Career Professionals & Entrepreneurs to Embrace Authenticity - the Effortless Way to Create Impact | Host: Conscious Career Without Politics | Daily Audio: Authenticity in Action | Coach & Facilitator
💢💢💢 LIFE = SALES 💢💢💢 This equation was first introduced to me by the world renowned Sales & Leadership Mastery Expert #blairsinger in April 2021. Every form of communication that happens between two people is some kind of a sale. Whether it's between family members, friends, relatives, co-workers, management, teams, or even the self-talk that happens within ourselves, we are constantly engaged in a process of #persuasion. Every time we interact, we are either trying to convince others of our ideas or pondering whether to be convinced by what they have to say. This dynamic is the essence of sales. It's about understanding perspectives, presenting value, and finding common ground. Consider these everyday instances from a mid-career professional's life: 💢Team Meetings: Persuading colleagues to adopt your strategy for the upcoming project. 💢Client Presentations: Convincing clients of the value and benefits of your product or service. 💢Negotiations: Discussing terms and conditions with vendors or partners to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. 💢Performance Reviews: Highlighting your achievements and contributions to secure a promotion or raise. 💢Networking Events: Building relationships and presenting yourself in a way that opens doors to new opportunities. 💢Family Decisions: Discussing vacation plans or budget allocations with your partner to reach a consensus. 💢Mentoring: Guiding junior colleagues by sharing insights and encouraging them to follow best practices. Life is a continuous series of transactions, and mastering the art of communication is key to success in every aspect. So, embrace the sales process, sharpen your communication skills, & recognize that every conversation is an opportunity to: Connect, Influence, & Grow #artandscienceofsales #lifeandsales #valuesdrivenlife #authenticarchana ******************************************************************************* Hi, I am Archana Chhatre. Being an enterprise salesperson was like being a player on the field. You’re doing the detailed work, studying the customer, the people, exercising your selling skills, finding your personal and business wins, so at the right point you have earned the right to ask for the business naturally. As you move into sales management, you go from catching the ball in the endzone to coaching on the sidelines. You’ve got to encourage both your team and your customers. After sales management, you eventually end up in the press box, architecting and creating strategy for the entire organization. In the box, you interact with the board and navigate all the objectives and priorities of the business. There are many stakeholders that you have to communicate and negotiate with to get everyone on the same page. As CRO of Salesloft, this is my role: building relationships, keeping the team motivated and bringing the whole organization together to align around common objectives so that Salesloft is winning in the game of sales. If I had one piece of advice on how to prepare yourself for each next step of the journey, it would be to know your trade before you move into your next role. I think to be a great coach to others in a role, you have to truly understand what it’s like to be in their shoes. What career development advice would you add for people who want to move into sales leadership? #careeradvancement #salesleadership

What’s the #1 thing holding back your sales career? Many talented professionals struggle to advance because they overlook one critical factor: understanding and embracing their own unique skills and superpowers. In my career, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and coaching a wide range of sellers—and one theme emerges consistently: 💥Success doesn’t come from being the smartest person in the room—it comes from mastering YOUR strengths. Here’s how to take control and elevate your career: 🎯 1. Showcase your unique skills on LinkedIn Your profile should scream your value proposition! Highlight what makes you different. 💡 2. Understand your superpowers We all have strengths. Find yours, hone them, and use them to lift others up. 📚 3. Be a student of your role If you aren’t learning and evolving, you’re falling behind. After a rough year, I committed to studying everything that worked (and what didn’t). I never missed a number again. 🤝 4. Ditch the ‘lone wolf’ mentality Collaboration trumps competition every time. I used to think I had to be the sharpest in the room. I’ve learned it’s more about empowering others. 🧭 5. Move towards mastery Don’t aim to just get by—aim to master your role. Excellence isn’t about perfection; it’s about relentless improvement. The path to a stellar sales career starts with self-awareness and consistent growth. If you’re not evolving, you’re stagnant. You’ve got to know your strengths, work on your weaknesses, and always aim to elevate those around you. Are you playing to your unique strengths—or are you still trying to fit into a mold that doesn’t suit you? Drop a comment below and let’s talk about what’s holding back YOUR sales career! *"That which you most avoid is often that which most needs to be done."* 🌟 One of my goals this summer was to improve my cold calling skills. While I excel at understanding prospects' needs during meetings and closing deals, I realized my meeting booking skills needed work. 📞 In sales, a packed calendar is crucial—no meetings, no deals. 🗓️ This journey taught me the importance of picking up the phone and booking my own meetings. It might feel selfish to focus on personal goals, but it also encourages teammates to focus on what they need to improve. Admitting a need for growth isn’t a sign of weakness; it shows courage and a willingness to change and evolve. 💪 With the right company, team, and leadership, these behaviors are embraced and encouraged. 🌟 What challenges have you faced that pushed you to grow in your career? Let’s share and inspire each other! 💬 🚀 #B2BSales #SaaS #ColdCalling #SalesGrowth #SalesStrategy #CareerDevelopment #SalesLeadership #ProfessionalGrowth

During a recent networking event, I had the opportunity to chat with someone who introduced themselves as a Sales Director, despite having zero years of experience in sales. Intrigued, I delved deeper into their background and was surprised to learn that they had previously worked in quality control. As our conversation progressed, it became evident that this individual lacked even a basic understanding of sales principles. They seemed unfamiliar with fundamental concepts like prospecting, lead generation, and closing techniques. It was baffling to think that someone with no sales experience could hold such a crucial role. What was even more surprising was discovering that their performance in their previous role in quality control wasn't exceptional either. Despite their supposed expertise, they struggled to meet quality standards and often fell short in their responsibilities. Reflecting on this encounter, it struck me how important it is for individuals to possess the necessary skills and knowledge required for their roles. While it's admirable to venture into new fields, it's essential to undergo proper training and education to excel in unfamiliar territories. This encounter served as a stark reminder of the pitfalls of assuming leadership positions without the requisite experience or expertise. It highlighted the importance of continuous learning, humility, and self-awareness in navigating professional growth and development. "Mastering one skill is the gateway to excellence, choose wisely, improve relentlessly, and watch as your expertise transforms both you and the world around you." #continouslearning #master #oneskill #expertise #personalgrowth

Last evening marked the culmination of my Professional Selling and Sales Management course, an enriching journey punctuated by moments of personal and professional growth. I am thrilled to share that not only was I honored as a standout performer (Rising Star) in a fiercely competitive sales competition, but I also achieved a distinguished ranking within the top 5% among a cohort of thousands of highly talented individuals. Upon reflection, I am reminded of the pivotal role that sales play as a vital metric for organizational success. They serve as a barometer of growth and possess the unique ability to forecast future potential. However, it's become apparent to me throughout my career that there is often a gap in transparent communication surrounding strategies for driving sales growth within organizations. Equally important is the need for clear articulation of how these strategies are tracked and executed. While cost-cutting measures are undoubtedly important, a balanced approach is essential for sustained success. Furthermore, I've come to appreciate the paramount importance of cultivating genuine relationships and fostering trust in modern selling practices. These pillars are foundational to success and require consistent investment of time and effort. Managing relationships with key clients demands careful attention, as any misstep can have far-reaching consequences. As I embark on the next chapter of my professional journey, I am committed to leveraging the insights gained from my course to drive meaningful impact in sales and sales management. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. #RNMKRS #HES #ProfessionalSelling & #SalesManagement #StrategicManagement
