Just a thought, are the businesses which involve sales, marketing, operations, R & D, HR, Finance and bla bla... follow business ethics? May be out of topic, but very important. Many organisations compromise business ethics in the race of numbers (making money). At the end of the day what matters is how much one makes profit. Though I have not studied much about business, this is what happens in reality. At the end of the day everyone is running to make money, but one question to be answered for themselves "did I follow basic business ethics today?". This is to be questioned everyday EoD.
When I started exploring about various domains before my MBA journey I had a chance to talk to peers about their domain preferences, I noticed something interesting: sales seemed to be the last preference for many. This caught my attention. Why does sales have this reputation? Why does it make people hesitate? These questions got me thinking: 💭 Is it because people think sales is all about chasing targets and being pushy? 💭 Are there misconceptions about sales being a “not-so-glamorous” or less rewarding career? 💭 Or could it be cultural stigma, personal bias, or simply a misunderstanding of what sales truly entails? These questions sparked my curiosity, so I decided to dig deeper and explore the sales domain further. 🚀 Introducing My Sales Series: As I embark on this journey to understand sales better, I’ll be sharing my learnings, insights and my perspective on sales here. From uncovering the reasons behind its perception to exploring what makes sales impactful, I’m excited to document my exploration and start meaningful conversations. 💬 What about you? How do you view sales as a career option? Have you encountered or held any misconceptions about sales? What do you think sales is really about? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. 💢💢💢 LIFE = SALES 💢💢💢 This equation was first introduced to me by the world renowned Sales & Leadership Mastery Expert #blairsinger in April 2021. Every form of communication that happens between two people is some kind of a sale. Whether it's between family members, friends, relatives, co-workers, management, teams, or even the self-talk that happens within ourselves, we are constantly engaged in a process of #persuasion. Every time we interact, we are either trying to convince others of our ideas or pondering whether to be convinced by what they have to say. This dynamic is the essence of sales. It's about understanding perspectives, presenting value, and finding common ground. Consider these everyday instances from a mid-career professional's life: 💢Team Meetings: Persuading colleagues to adopt your strategy for the upcoming project. 💢Client Presentations: Convincing clients of the value and benefits of your product or service. 💢Negotiations: Discussing terms and conditions with vendors or partners to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. 💢Performance Reviews: Highlighting your achievements and contributions to secure a promotion or raise. 💢Networking Events: Building relationships and presenting yourself in a way that opens doors to new opportunities. 💢Family Decisions: Discussing vacation plans or budget allocations with your partner to reach a consensus. 💢Mentoring: Guiding junior colleagues by sharing insights and encouraging them to follow best practices. Life is a continuous series of transactions, and mastering the art of communication is key to success in every aspect. So, embrace the sales process, sharpen your communication skills, & recognize that every conversation is an opportunity to: Connect, Influence, & Grow #artandscienceofsales #lifeandsales #valuesdrivenlife #authenticarchana ******************************************************************************* Hi, I am Archana Chhatre. Last evening marked the culmination of my Professional Selling and Sales Management course, an enriching journey punctuated by moments of personal and professional growth. I am thrilled to share that not only was I honored as a standout performer (Rising Star) in a fiercely competitive sales competition, but I also achieved a distinguished ranking within the top 5% among a cohort of thousands of highly talented individuals. Upon reflection, I am reminded of the pivotal role that sales play as a vital metric for organizational success. They serve as a barometer of growth and possess the unique ability to forecast future potential. However, it's become apparent to me throughout my career that there is often a gap in transparent communication surrounding strategies for driving sales growth within organizations. Equally important is the need for clear articulation of how these strategies are tracked and executed. While cost-cutting measures are undoubtedly important, a balanced approach is essential for sustained success. Furthermore, I've come to appreciate the paramount importance of cultivating genuine relationships and fostering trust in modern selling practices. These pillars are foundational to success and require consistent investment of time and effort. Managing relationships with key clients demands careful attention, as any misstep can have far-reaching consequences. As I embark on the next chapter of my professional journey, I am committed to leveraging the insights gained from my course to drive meaningful impact in sales and sales management. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. #RNMKRS #HES #ProfessionalSelling & #SalesManagement #StrategicManagement

🅂🄰🄻🄴🅂 Starting a career in sales is like stepping into an exhilarating roller coaster ride. Each month begins with fresh optimism and curiosity, pushing you to achieve your targets. As a sales consultant, you're constantly navigating a sea of challenges, building your mark, and nurturing client relationships. My journey into sales wasn’t pre-planned; it was destiny that led me here. Starting as a Senior Sales Associate, I faced my share of ups and downs. Leaving my first company within seven months was a tough decision, but it shaped me into a forward-thinking professional with a stronger resolve. Now, transitioning to a Pre-Sales Consultant role, the title may have changed, but the essence of the work remains the same. Sales is not just about closing deals—it's about evolving with each interaction, understanding the client’s perspective, and continuously growing. Every experience, whether a success or a challenge, adds depth to your journey. To all sales professionals out there, remember: the cycle of growth never ends. Keep learning, keep adapting, and success will follow. #SalesJourney #BusinessDevelopment #SalesConsultant #CustomerSuccess #PreSales #CareerGrowth #Leadership #ClientRelationships #B2BSales #ProfessionalDevelopment #GrowthMindset #SuccessInSales
