After what feels like an eternity, my hiring banner is being firmly archived! Team Moonwards (my smaller team of ICs) is a GO 🌝 After an insane start to the year and some crazy growth it is time to focus on getting that pipeline in. One huge strategy that I have always promoted and am pushing for harder than ever is moving away from prospecting automation. 1. Using a sequence as a base and minimum expectation of activity on an account 2. Build a clear ad hoc activity strategy using full multi channel and multi threading 3. Supporting the team in time management to get the most autonomy out of their week as possible 4. Strong efficient research using a BPP methodology (buisness, persona, personal- it’s my own dm me for more info 😉) 5. Find the fun and do more of what you love Having so much fun doing this and can’t wait to see the results in not only meetings booked but sales skills built through the process. Anybody struggling to find a new role relate to this DM I got? "Well, well, well, my LinkedIn feed is quite the spectacle lately. - Sally just started an amazing new role as Chief Everything Officer at Acme Inc! - Megan is now Chief Visionary and Daydreamer atMakesNoMoney dot com! - John is now Empowerment Ninja at BigStartup dot com! Wow, so many big titles and "exciting" opportunities abound! Too bad most of us are still scrounging to find any job that will pay the bills. But I'm sure those shiny new titles come offer employees like me a fair shot, right? It's totally not about who you know or lucky timing, no siree! In the meantime, I'll just be over here sending my 4,583rd job application into the void, while dreaming of the day I too can be a Synergy Unicorn. Sigh, such a bountiful job market we're blessed with." Ok...some strong feelings out there...let's try to help this person out. Cut the line, fair shot…🤔 I highly encourage sending incredibly creative resumes that showcase how good you are at “anything I put my mind too”. On one hand employers post ridiculous job requirements. Equally, from an employer perspective I receive an insane amount of MS Word template resumes that spend a page saying nothing real. Pretend you are making the ultimate mix tape for your crush (based on what you have done and can do) - send me that and let’s interview! Pro tip, I don’t even look at resumes in word, PDF or bust (we are marketing and software company, to be fair). #bancoverletters #boycottapplications

Some may disagree with my opinion on this topic but hear me out! 📣 Do not use alternative methods to locate a company e-mail address if that individual didn’t give it to you! That means they don’t want you to have it! 👏 Those in favor of this practice preach it shows the candidate is proactive, tenacious, and very interested in the company/job! (I could see this being beneficial for sales roles!) 💪 I have been a hiring manager for a number of years now! These are the 🚩🚩 I see: If hired can this person follow the internal chain of command? What about internal processes? Will they be regularly interrupting the team's workflow? 🤷♀️ This is your first chance to show you can follow directions/processes! How will you choose to handle it? Thoughts? 🎤
