Metaswitch consultants helping independent telcos with network changes, troubleshooting and hosted PBX. Host of a telco podcast.
Just a quick reminder, as of May 24, the FCC requires that you ONLY accept traffic from service providers with a valid filing in the Robocall Mitigation Database. Hopefully for most small class 5 ILECs and CLECs it shouldn't take long to check that each trunk is to an entity with an RMD entry - as long as you have a process in place to check again occasionally (or when you make a network change). For any intermediate service providers out there, with a large number of connections, I imagine you'll need to put a robust process in place to monitor for changes among your interconnected carriers. https://lnkd.in/gcv8JcaK
