Finally! After 2 second places, with a minimum margen of difference, here we are… Rig of the Quarter Q3 2024. Feels good to say it! To many, it might seam like just a quarter’s award, but to see where we came from, 2+ years of bringing this rig from almost the end of its lifetime, with a minimum team, restarting operations from zero in Brazil, and where we are today, fills my heart with joy and pride. It is truly an honor to be part of this. A lot of work has been invested into bringing this old lady to the top positions in which she stands today. I want to congratulate everyone one on this achievement. This is with out a doubt a full team effort, knowing each one contributed to this result not only on a daily basis, but I like to say it was on each decision taking moment! Every time we chose to do the right thing, to execute whatever we have to do on the rig incorporating our company’s values and procedures, by choosing to not only perform with excellency and integrity, but most importantly, SAFELY! I want to give a special thanks to our safety team, which is a team that I know every single effort made to get to this day and result. Who did nothing short of beyond what was asked of them every time. Thank you for the amazing effort! After putting in so many hours, late nights and a lot of times sacrificing precious time with our families, seeing this makes it worth it. Not only because of the result it self, but to see the bigger picture in this, which is that we are on the right track, that we are making the right decisions, and I can’t help but think of how far we can get by continuing on this track! Let us keep our self’s in check as well, let us not forget that it only takes on wrong decision to get us away for where we are and that the only way we got here was by making the right choices. Let us also remember that good results don’t happen overnight. It is about persistence, consistence and believing. Stay humble, stay honest, stay strong, the sky IS NOT the limit! Go DS-4!
