LATEST NEWS Perfect ground, top class racing… ‘Five wonderful days of truly top class flat racing awaits us at Royal Ascot this week. We have thirty-five races over the five days. From those thirty-five, twenty-one races are either Group or Listed. That is a measure of how high the quality is. The current going at the Ascot course is Good to Firm, Good in places. A moderate amount of watering was applied on Monday. Expectations are for a mainly dry and warm week, although there is a threat of thundery showers later in the week. Away from Ascot there will be other racing of interest. There is a Listed race at Pontefract on Sunday plus we have four summer jumps cards through the week. As ever the fundamentals will remain the same. Thorough preparation, selectivity, discipline and above all, true betting value. Turning to last week. As expected, a selective approach was required. We had just the three bets, all successful. The highlight being a dominant winner returned at 3/1. For the full range of membership options now available, see the link below. LATEST NEWS Chester, Lingfield and the summer jumps… ‘Packed schedule for the week ahead. The flat season continues its development whilst the summer jumps campaign gets fully underway. On the flat my main meetings of interest this week are at Chester and Lingfield. The three day Chester Vase meeting starts on Wednesday. Last year the fixture was run on quite testing ground, this year conditions look more favourable. Little rain in the forecast and increasing temperatures should see the ground ride faster than the current going report of Good, good to soft in places. On Saturday Lingfield stage their trial races for the forthcoming Epsom Classics. Both Chester and Lingfield will provide important future pointers. Plenty of jumps action throughout the week. The meetings at Fakenham, who have made significant course alternations, along with Market Rasen, the mixed meeting at Haydock, Hexham and the two cards on Sunday at Ludlow and Plumpton will be of particular interest. Dry and warm weather for most in the coming days. We can expect some course watering in order to maintain decent racing ground. Whilst last week was very quiet on the betting front it proved to be an informative and rewarding time. Lots of debuts on the flat and we had a high value winner over the jumps. I had our bet in at 4/1 on my private tissue against the double figure odds on offer in the early prices. True betting value is an essential part of achieving long term success.’ MEMBERSHIP & INFORMATION: https://lnkd.in/eY8ECm9w

LATEST NEWS The summer season begins… ‘We now go into the five month summer season. During this period my concentration is on the higher quality flat racing along with the summer jumps. At this very early stage the flat is just developing. So far we have had only a handful of better class meetings to provide pointers for future use. This week there is an informative trials card at Ascot on Wednesday and the Newmarket Guineas meeting from Friday to Sunday. In the following weeks there are high profile three day meetings from both Chester and York. The overall picture will begin to establish some clarity. The summer jumps picture is interesting. Just recently we have seen the ground begin to firm up with entries rapidly increasing as the faster ground horses at long last get more suited conditions. Indications are that connections will be keeping a number of the faster ground types in training as we go into the summer which should bolster the overall jumps programme. The week ahead provides us with the five day Punchestown Festival starting on Tuesday. Plus there is a Hunter Chase card at Cheltenham on Friday which will be of interest and jumps action from Hexham and Uttoxeter on Saturday. There are forty-nine summer jumps fixtures scheduled in May. After a cold April temperatures are forecast to rise this week. Plenty of rain around early in the week becoming drier as we approach the weekend. I have a number of meetings arranged with various connections over the next couple of weeks as part of my plans for the summer season.’ MEMBERSHIP & INFORMATION: https://lnkd.in/eY8ECm9w

T minus one week. Check out the local stores in your area to try out a pair of IMPACTS https://lnkd.in/e5GAwM-M Here's why you should go to a store: 1. You are most likely running in a pair of shoes that are not your size and do not fit you correctly. Most people, don't know their shoe size and without due analysis this can cause other problems. 2. You will get the right shoe for you having analysed your goals, mechanics and history. It works. I've witnessed it time and time again 3. You will be supporting a local business that invests in your local area and is a hub of your local community activity 4. You will have a chat with a nice person, connect and perhaps even build up a friendship or friendships. The people working in stores are motivated by passion and are doing this 'job' because they love running and talking to new people. If you need a shift in energy, no better session than 30-45 minute shoe fitting 5. You will build a habit that compounds and impacts all areas of your life. Running is way more than just the act of running. The benefits are incredible #retail #runningshoes #runningcommunity #product
Proof nature can perform. The perfect balance of cushioning and responsiveness for those every day miles. Launching March 4th in running stores around the world.

Latest News Glorious Goodwood, Galway and the summer jumps break… ‘The coming week is dominated by the five day Glorious Goodwood meeting starting on Tuesday. Plenty of top class action with a total of thirteen Group races plus a number of other contests of interest. The forecast at Goodwood is for a largely dry and warm week. Current going is Good/good to soft in places. The ground should get firmer and faster given the prevailing weather conditions. Also in Ireland we have the week long Galway Festival. A good mixed meeting which I will be paying close attention to as it could provide betting opportunities for us. As ever, true betting value will be the key factor. Under the revised racing programme for this year the summer jumps now takes a near three week break and we then have a few shorter breaks in early September. This follows a steady month by month reduction in summer jumps fixtures from May onwards. There were as many jump meetings in just eight days in early May as there have been in all of July. This spasmodic ‘feast or famine’ approach lacks continuity. I would rather see a more defined and consistent summer jumps season. One option would be to take a full break after the jump season reaches its finale at Sandown in late April. At present no sooner has one season ended than another begins. The new summer jumps season would then run unbroken before the main seven month winter campaign gets underway. At present we have a fragmented schedule which needs a re-think involving all concerned before the 2025 racing programme is decided upon. ‘ MEMBERSHIP & INFORMATION: https://lnkd.in/eY8ECm9w
