Yesterday was Memorial Day, a time to honor and remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms. This day always makes me pause and think about the values of dedication, commitment, and integrity that these heroes embodied. As a professional, I find myself deeply inspired by these values. How can we incorporate such unwavering dedication into our daily work? How can we ensure that we are committed to justice and integrity in every case we handle? For me, Memorial Day is not just a day of remembrance, but also a reminder to strive for excellence in all we do. It’s a call to honor those values in our own lives and professions. I’d love to hear your thoughts. How does Memorial Day inspire you in your professional journey? #MemorialDay #Reflection #Values #Dedication #Integrity

This is classic Trump behaviour seen in his first term; misdirection, misinformation and give the people something to occupy them, while he does further damage to the American framework. While the press gets wrapped up on this, it reflects the attention from the fact he has failed to deliver peace Ukraine, started attacking the rights of the Black American community, and his pushing of America to the far right. The only thing that is a constant is that the American people continue to fail to learn lessons, and Trump 2.0, on a serious cognitive decline, is going to take America to a very dark place in very quick time. As for Europe, it must be prepared to fight for its safety on a political, diplomatic and economic front.
President Trump has ordered the release of all files related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., making them available to the public. This is almost after six decades, the question is why the truth and all facts remain in deep darkness and without transparency for such longtime? Why was it under the second term of Trump? These are lessons learned, however did we learn something from them? or would the history still go on repeating itself as it does on front of our eyes? This is also the case as in the Holocaust, which we thought it would never happen again, yet we still see that genocides continue to take place and also quite frequently. All of these unfortunately with the complicity of the existing political structures that have the leverages to act according to the international laws. https://lnkd.in/duD-rmy2

Patriot Day, observed on September 11, is profoundly significant in our nation's history. This day serves as a solemn reminder of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, when our country faced one of its darkest moments. It's a day to honor the memory of the lives lost and the heroism displayed, but it also signifies the enduring spirit of unity and resilience that defines America. On this Patriot Day, we remember the first responders, the courageous individuals who put their lives on the line to save others, and the countless acts of kindness and solidarity that emerged from the ashes of tragedy. It is a day that underscores the American people's strength and unwavering commitment to freedom and justice. Let Patriot Day remind us that we can overcome even the most challenging circumstances when we stand together and support one another. Today, we commemorate the past, acknowledge our shared resilience, and look forward to a future where these principles continue to guide our nation's journey. #PatriotDay #UnitedWeStand #Remember911 #911

After all of these years, this 2 minute video continues to inspires me. As we approach Veterans day let us remind oursleves that not only is it valuable to recognize the contributions of our veterans, but it is also important to remember that peace, not conflict, should be our default. I listen to this speech often when striving toward a better world through listening, understanding, and the goal of peace for all humankind. It reminds me of responsibility of those in power, the power of words and actions and doing the right thing in the face of challenging circumstances. The speech is from 1963, so it would be revised to be more gender inclusive, but the central tenets remain sound. "I realize the pursuit of peace is not as dramatic as the pursuit of war, and frequently the words of the pursuers fall on deaf ears. But we have no more urgent task...Our problems are manmade; therefore, they can be solved by man. Man's reason and spirit have often solved the seemingly unsolvable, and we believe they can do it again...And if we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's futures. And we are all mortal." https://lnkd.in/g_4uV2BK

We are challenged by Dr King to see where we stand during times of challenge and controversy, rising above the narrow confines of our individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity. Rest in Peace -------------- "On November 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was assassinated while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas." xxxxxx Peace for all ------------- President John F. Kennedy Washington, D.C. June 10, 1963 "What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children--not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women--not merely peace in our time but peace for all time."

King Hui of Liang inquired of Wei Liao-tzu: "Is it true that the Yellow Emperor, through punishments and Virtue, achieved a hundred victories [without a defeat]?" Wei Liao-tzu replied: "Punishment was employed to attack [the rebellious], Virtue was employed to preserve [the people].' This is not what is referred to as `Heavenly Offices, [auspicious] hours and days, yin and yang, facing toward and turning your back to.' The Yellow Emperor's [victories] were a matter of human effort, that is all. Why was that?* - Said by Capt. Sheffield to Capt. Contreras, of the White Hand, after the mission briefing for her first mission for Duchess Karis So.
