The results of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's 6 month test of Stellaris Corporation's ClearPower transparent solar photovoltaic window technology are that ClearPower matches, or in some conditions even exceeds, the performance of traditional opaque rooftop solar panels. The NREL findings are a significant third party confirmation of ClearPower as a unique tool to allow buildings to self-generate CO2 free electricity and to decarbonize buildings in the US as well as internationally. Architectual Record Magazine has also recognized ClearPower's performance and innovation by awarding ClearPower as product of the year! Stellaris

Exciting news in the world of sustainable building technologies! Building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) have long been known for their dual functionality of generating electricity while serving as essential building materials. However, a common challenge has been the trade-off between energy production and maintaining the core functions of building elements like windows. Enter Stellaris with their groundbreaking ClearPower photovoltaic window insert. Following a rigorous six-month evaluation by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the results are in, and they are impressive. The transparent ClearPower insert has proven to match the performance of traditional opaque solar panels, marking a significant advancement in BIPV technology. This milestone signifies a major breakthrough in the realm of sustainable architecture. With the advent of this innovative BIPV window technology, building electrification and decarbonization are now more achievable than ever before. The era of seamlessly integrating solar power generation into building design while preserving functionality has arrived, paving the way for a greener and more energy-efficient future. #SustainableTechnology #SolarPower #BuildingInnovation
