This year began on a heartwarming note with a visit to Rt Hon Somtochukwu Udeze, Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly. His kind words about my journey as one of the state’s proud youths were deeply moving and a testament to the power of mentorship. Hon Udeze’s leadership is inspiring—he has championed over 40 laws and 200 resolutions to improve lives in Anambra. His guidance and fatherly blessings during my visit have reignited my commitment to making a positive impact. Here’s to a purposeful and impactful 2025!

Webinar 31st January: Parents as Peer Leaders – An Approach Close to My Heart. Since 2015, I’ve been a strong advocate for Parents as Peer Leaders—an approach that is both empowering and deeply personal to me. Supporting parents to take on leadership roles and shape the future of early childhood intervention has been a key focus of my work. I’m delighted to be presenting alongside Peggy Kern, Anoo Bhopti, PhD, and parent-peer leader Kylie Aekins at our upcoming PRECI (Professionals and Researchers in Early Childhood Intervention) workshop. The response has been fantastic, with over 100 RSVPs already. If this is an area of interest to you, I’d love to welcome you to the session. Provocation: What if we chose (today) to live in equitable interdependence with the living and non-living world? This is the provocation I asked during the Hakuba Forum last month. This provocation is meant for us to think both long and short term: How are we changing our ways of being today to be a good ancestor for those coming seven generations after us? I am grateful to have been guided in an exercise where I could engage the more-than-human world for advice and wisdom, and it has fundamentally changed how I walk through the world and how I consider my own interdependence with other living and non-living beings. How are you stepping into interdependence with the more-than-human world? What would it mean to live this provocation daily? What would that mean seven generations from now? https://lnkd.in/e3a6SQGB
