An excellent way to develop relationships and a prime example of how real world face to face events bring people together and new partnerships and ideas formed. This type of collaboration just isn't possible by video conference. I agree this takes significant investment but people need to realise lasting connections will be built by such events and will enable people to achieve more than they imagined. For those starting out in business you must make the effort to invest in these partnerships, working from a desk at home just isn't going to cut it. Not everyone is a cyclist but find an activity that works for you, invvite some connections and see what it can do, what do you have to lose? Go for it.

If you saw my recent gratitude post of our family’s shoes - you know we were able to take an amazing trip across portions of Europe. The trip was really about introducing Europe and the broader international world to our boys. My mindset was… successful family trip = boys experiencing the world and taking it all in (one gelato at a time, but that’s for another post 🍨). During our various tours, I was intrigued by… the floor? Yep. I took several photos of amazing places and really scrutinized the floor. I could see signs of ‘recycling’/repurposing. I could see imagery that started at the foundational level and moved up to the walls and often ceilings. Floors often get overlooked. But, by being curious about the several century old floors - I gained a greater appreciation of the whole. Where might your curious eye take you? As part of our annual CluneTech Goes Green initiative and to celebrate the 12th anniversary of our Veliko Tarnovo office, on April 6th five dedicated colleagues joined forces to plant twelve young plane trees near our local office and Veliko Tarnovo’s sports school, Georgi Zhivkov. With a combined weight of 840 kg, these trees symbolize our commitment to overcoming any challenge, echoing the spirit of ‘ain’t no mountain high enough’ for our volunteers. But why plane trees, you might wonder? With a lifespan stretching over several hundred years, plane trees embody the resilience and enduring nature of Mother Earth. What better way to honor World Earth Day this April?
