To do away with colonial vestiges in the #Indianmilitary and its traditions, the Armed Forces are considering several changes. These include officers studying #Indian strategists in their career courses instead of Western experts, reducing the number of Scottish-origin pipe bands in the Army, and giving a more pan-India character to certain arms of the #Army. Drafting a tri-service Act instead of three individual service Acts is also being considered. Click on the 🔗 below to read what changes the #ArmedForces are considering to shed colonial influences, and why 👇🏽 https://lnkd.in/g_jwEZdV

The current reality that we are facing, made me do this analysis. It was out of better understanding the numbers besides the though reality of military conflicts that we see in the news. Did you know that it is estimated that United States will surpass 1 trillion $ in 2030, while China will reach 736 billion $? I agree that education is not a retention tool and when you invest in the betterment of those who are the foundation for the successes and/or failures of the organization they are assigned to, you see much more successes than failures. The military is a temporary moment in one’s journey we call life and the military is investing in this person to ensure they are capable of adding to the successes of the military’s mission, no matter the branch. You want to have increased retention rates, increased morale, increased efficiency and effectiveness, more patriotism and admiration for military service, don’t look at service members as puppets, numbers, etc., and allow for people to feel as if their impact is greater than how they feel now. Education benefits are opportunities for service members to become a better version of themselves not only as service members, but as people. We can raise our right hand and swear to support and defend the constitution, but when it comes to looking not only on how we can become better versions of ourselves as soldiers, but as human being for our life after the military, that’s wrong and those opportunities are no longer going to be provided? The military is a small piece of the puzzle that is an individuals life and why punish them for realizing they’ve reached their potential within the military and decide to move on from it? If they’ve served honorably, allow them the chance to use TA or CA to set themselves up for success in the next chapter in their lives. I agree with Jonathan Lu that people should always come first because the wars and battles are won on the ground and in the “trenches”, not up in Washington D.C. Let’s collectively do better for our service members! #peoplefirst #educateoursoldiers #usarmy
Dear US Army, Tuition Assistance and Credentialing Assistance empower thousands of Soldiers to serve our Nation with increasing fidelity and professional excellence. If asked to, I would be honored to speak on their behalf, as well as in defense of these important programs. Sincerely, A barely retired Soldier For Life who is still returning your investment in his education by always keeping "my two basic responsibilities uppermost in my mind." #armystrong #usarmy #military #army #usa

3x Combat ARMY veteran with a Bronze Star in combat! Be careful who you judge! We talk about wanting to be a part of the United States Army and the new recruiting system. We discuss how other countries require mandatory military service, and how that can make people better. We emphasize that joining the Army doesn't change who you are, but rather helps you become more educated and understand important life lessons, like pre-combat checks and inspections. The key message is that by changing your algorithm, you can change your life. US Army Jared Jerrick, PMP #Army #Recruiting #LifeLessons #PersonalGrowth #Algorithm

The Russia-Ukraine war underscores critical challenges for the U.S. Army, according to a new paper published by the Association of the U.S. Army. “In its third year since the 2022 invasion, the Russo-Ukrainian War shows few clear signs of abating,” authors Charles McEnany and retired Col. Daniel Roper write. “What many assumed would be a short, decisive war has become a test of endurance and adaptation. The U.S. Army is studying the conflict as it ‘continuously transforms’ for large-scale combat operations.” #ReadMore: https://loom.ly/y8viuo4 #AUSAorg #AUSA #USArmy #ukrainewar #futurefight #ukraine #russia
