Wall of Champions We all navigate unique tracks, each with its own twists, turns, and daunting obstacles. Even the most accomplished #leaders, like seasoned champions, face corners so challenging that they sometimes crash spectacularly. But what defines true success isn't the absence of setbacks; it's the resilience to get back up, learn from the fall, and return to that same daunting curve. The #champions of every industry don't shy away from the tracks that once defeated them. Instead, they study their missteps, recalibrate their approach, and lead their teams back into the arena, armed with hard-won wisdom and an unyielding resolve to overcome what previously seemed impossible. “Welcome to Quebec”, said the wall. A notorious section of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the racetrack that hosts the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. This particular part of the track has gained a reputation for being one of the most challenging and unforgiving corners in #Formula1 racing. Formula 1 drivers, many of them world champions, have faced and crashed into this treacherous corner year after year. Even the champions crash and they return each season to confront this challenge. It's called the "Wall of Champions”. 🏎️💪 In 1999, Michael Schumacher crashed into the wall during qualifying, along with fellow champions Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve. He went on to win the Canadian GP in 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2004. So when you face your own challenging chicane, channel that champion's spirit. Study your setback, adjust your approach, and lead your team to victory. Bonjour Montreal! It’s Canadian Grand Prix! 🇨🇦🏁 #CanadianGP #F1 #OvercomingChallenges #Leadership #Success

🏁 Even Legends Lose—But They Keep Going with Perseverance to Win! 🏆 In NASCAR, even the greatest drivers face countless losses. Richard Petty, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin have all experienced way more defeats than victories, yet they are celebrated as legends, leaders, and winners. 🌟 Richard Petty raced 1,184 races to win a total of 200 wins for a 16.9% win rate Kyle Busch raced 800 races to win a total of 60 wins for a 7.5% win rate Denny Hamlin raced 500 races to win a total of 49 wins for a 9.8% win rate In sales, it’s easy to focus on the setbacks and challenges. But just like these racing champions, we should celebrate our victories and strive to do our absolute best every single day. Remember, it’s about progress, persistence, and pushing through. That is how we win! So let’s give ourselves credit for every win and keep driving forward with determination. Success is built on perseverance! 💪🚀 #SalesMotivation #Resilience #CelebrateWins #KeepPushing #SalesSuccess #Inspiration #DriveForGreatness"

WINsday Wednesday, race fans and leaders! Oscar Piastri's first Grand Prix victory in Hungary a few weeks ago was more than just a personal triumph for the young Melbournian, it was a masterclass in teamwork under pressure. Piastri's McLaren team spent the final part of the race demanding that his teammate Lando Norris conceded the lead to his teammate after their differing pitstop strategies. Ultimately, Piastri’s maiden grand prix victory arrived amid Norris’ frustration. Key insights for leaders: - Clear communication is crucial. Even when tensions rise, keep the channels open and the messages consistent. - In leading teas you need to have clear 'rules of engagement'- and Norris was reminded of this via a radio message from his engineer "Just remember every Sunday morning meeting we have...." - Sometimes, individual sacrifice leads to team success- another message reiterated this "The way to win a championship is not by yourself. You're going to need Oscar and you're going to need the team..." Which is code for "Team First" - Trust your team. Piastri's calm demeanour speaks volumes about his faith in his crew and his understanding of his role in the team. - Celebrate the wins, but always look for areas to improve, and no doubt the Mclaren team will do just that. In the end it was a win...but a messy one. In business, like in F1, victory is rarely a solo act. It's about the entire team firing on all cylinders and working to clear rules of engagement. #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #LeadershipLessons #F1Insights

We asked MM client Austin James why he thinks it’s important for athletes to get representation from an agency… 🤝 “It’s important on a personal level to help keep focused and help to achieve goals. Goals you may not even think of by yourself or roads you may not even consider looking down. It’s great guidance and it’s also an experience!” DM us if this sounds like something you’d be interested in! #sportmanagement #sportmarketing #sportbiz #sportbusiness #rugby #rugbyplayer

Ever wondered why F1 is so thrilling? Daniel Ricciardo just lost his seat at Red Bull Racing to Liam Lawson for the rest of the season. In a sport where performance is king, Red Bull made a swift decision. Ricciardo's struggle to deliver consistent results led to this shake-up. And now, the spotlight is on Lawson to unlock more points. Sergio Perez isn’t off the hook either. His results haven’t met Red Bull’s high expectations. Lawson now has six races to prove his worth and show he can outshine his teammates. This move also stirs the pot for 2025. ↓ Young talents like Isack Hadjar and Arvid Lindblad are eyeing their chance. Red Bull’s decision is a clear message: → Perform or perish. It's a tough end for Ricciardo. But in F1, if you don’t deliver, changes happen fast. This shake-up is the essence of the sport’s relentless and competitive drive.

1️⃣9️⃣ Round 19: United States 1️⃣9️⃣ After four weeks without F1, the show continues at long last, with both championships up for grabs after Lando Norris secured a victory in Singapore. This week, F1 will go to the Lone Star State, United States. The race is hosted in Austin’s Circuit of the Americas, a twisty track in the first sector that features long DRS straights between turns 11 and 12 and across the pit lane straight. So, what should we look out for this weekend? 👀 Ahead of the 2024 race, here’s a little reminder of what happened last season: 🧹 Max sweep: Max Verstappen took victory during the sprint race and would go on to win the main race, his 50th career victory. ⛔ Hamilton and Leclerc disqualified: The stewards deemed that both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc’s cars infringed technical regulations, causing their disqualifications. 🦅 America represent: The disqualification of Hamilton and Leclerc elevated Logan Sargeant to tenth, awarding his first points in F1. 🚨 Aston Martin F1: The Lawrence Stroll Effect 🚨 As much as Netflix’s Drive to Survive has painted Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll as a hard-nosed boss, the truth is that he’s proven to be one of the most transformative leaders in motorsport history. His strategic vision and relentless commitment to Aston Martin F1 have turned the team into a rising force. Let’s recap some of his major moves: - Rescued the team from bankruptcy before it became the Aston Martin F1 Team. - Doubled the workforce, bringing in top-tier talent, especially in partnerships and sales. 🏆 Signed two-time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso, a massive win for team morale and performance. - Built a new factory and wind tunnel, positioning the team to excel under the 2026 regulation changes. - Convinced Honda to return to F1 as a power unit partner, securing future competitiveness. - Secured Aramco as a long-term partner, providing a financial backbone for growth. 🎯 And yesterday, he has brought on Adrian Newey—the most decorated motorsport designer—as not just an employee but a long-term shareholder/partner. Stroll’s leadership is not just about maintaining the status quo; he’s laying the foundation for Aston Martin to be a powerhouse in F1 for years to come. His business acumen and passion for the sport are undeniable. What are your thoughts on Aston Martin’s future under Stroll’s leadership? Do you think this latest move with Adrian Newey will give them the edge they need for future championships? #AstonMartinF1 #LawrenceStroll #F1 #Formula1 #Motorsport #DriveToSurvive #F1Leadership #AdrianNewey #FernandoAlonso #F1News #HondaF1 #Aramco #MotorsportInnovation #F1Business #F1Strategy #F1Regulations #FutureOfF1 #ManeContractServices

In his autobiography, Alex Ferguson wrote: “It was in those days that I told the board David had to go. My message would have been familiar to board members who knew me. The minute a Manchester United player thought he was bigger than the manager, he had to go. I used to say, ‘The moment the manager loses his authority, you don’t have a club. The players will be running it, and then you’re in trouble.’ But in perhaps his most telling remark about things, he stated: “No individual is bigger than the team.” He himself went through his own ‘player versus team’ conflict in 2003 with David Beckham. Should Verstappen feel that he is better off elsewhere, or the team feels it is a good time for a change, then there would be a level of assuredness that it would not be the end of Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology success. Could Verstappen win races in a Mercedes or Aston Martin next year? Probably. But could other top drivers be winning races in the successor to the RB20? Absolutely. There are some big choices to be made by team and driver over the next few weeks, as we get to find out where the authority really lies inside Red Bull. #redbullracing #christianhorner #teamprincipal #F1 #leadership #authority #teamplayers #teamdynamics #maxverstappen
