"Crafting Sanctuaries: Black Spaces of the Great Depression South" is a powerful new exhibition that reimagines our understanding of the Great Depression by showcasing the vibrant, resilient lives of Black Southerners. This collection reveals intimate spaces of comfort and community, highlighting humble dwellings and public gathering places that were transformed into havens of expression and identity.   We provide financial support for costs associated with the presentation of the exhibition, and we encourage borrowing institutions to apply for supplemental Learning & Engagement funding to further enrich the experience with impactful programming and community engagement.   Submit your interest form today if you would like to join us in telling this story: https://bit.ly/3yJnkwh    Image Credit: Russell Lee, Southeast Missouri Farms.
