I like exploring art, jewellery and Literary fiction. Volunteering is something I love and, I am a self-taught sales representative 💛🌼 I think perspective is everything.
Art captures a constantly changing reality. Art, like literature, is a mirror of life through the artist's lens. Because perspective is everything, artists relay stories and experiences of themselves and the people around them. Art is fluid, its output stems from the artist's perspective. For example, Yusuff Aina uses his experiences to tell stories that make people feel represented, through his art. It is experimental as it is exceptional. Do you think your art has value only if it sells for high prices (the more the better), and only if galleries and even museums want to show it, and only if viewers say great things when they see it, and only if publications write about you, and only if you have lots of followers on social media and posts that get serious engagement, and only if your website gets lotsa traffic? If you answer yes to any of those questions, you might ask yourself: Am I making art about what I believe in, or my ego?

In this digital age, social media is a powerful tool to share both our artwork and our daily lives, an opportunity that artists of previous generations didn't have. I constantly ask myself: What am I here to disrupt and recreate? How does my presence—both online and off—reflect that purpose? How will future historians interpret the marks I leave behind? Let’s discuss, artists and art lovers alike: How do you think social media is reshaping the way we understand and appreciate art today? How are you using these platforms to leave your mark? #ArtInSocialMedia #ArtHistoryInTheMaking #ElliMilan

Today, I’m sharing wisdom from Carmel Byrne. Her thoughts on not taking on commissioned work resonate deeply with me. They remind me of the importance of staying true to my vision for mnm institute, even when it goes against the grain. Carmel’s approach champions an entrepreneurial vision that’s about packaging personal values and passion into a lifestyle model ... without selling your soul. This isn’t just about ideas. It’s about building a legacy, staying authentic, and letting actions speak louder than words or making a quick buck. Once you set your #C1CONTEXT and measure your actions by what you call your desired freedom. Be it spiritual, relationship-driven, the freedom of living a nomadic life or simply breaking out of the 9-to-5, you’ll find clarity. Having this vision makes it easier to tackle the next steps, starting with a #C2CRITICAL approach and commence with analysing the market with a sharp eye. Research who, where, what, and at what cost. This is the foundation. Then, establishing a #C3CONTROLLED strategy for a targeted market entry becomes more streamlined, giving clarity on how to create a 12-month plan to build a distinctive brand. And finally, with a focused audience, a crafted #C4COMMUNICATION strategy lets you connect meaningfully. Sounds simple, right? 😉 https://lnkd.in/d_ZGe3Wz
