The new structures display an organic design with curved lines and rooftop greenery, suggesting a commitment to sustainability and a bridge between nature and the built environment. Foreground buildings with green roofs and undulating facades contrast with the more rigid and angular forms of the historic architecture, creating a diverse urban tapestry. The open spaces between buildings are meticulously landscaped, forming public squares that can accommodate large gatherings and potentially serve as venues for public events, markets, or social interaction. Hong Kong is known for having mysterious holes in many of its tall buildings. Originally, the holes are known as ‘dragon gates’ and according to feng shui, these holes allow dragons to fly from the mountains to the ocean each day, allowing positive energy to flow through the building as a result. The other reason for these tower holes is far less superstitious and entirely practical. In Hong Kong, there are buildings called "wall-effect buildings." These are big buildings with large floors that make the landscape look like a solid wall.
