The future of fall risk assessment has arrived. A very cool tool to assess risk while keeping the patient engaged and reducing clinical staff need. This is an important tool for a shrinking healthcare workforce. #healthcare #fallprevention #healthcareinnovation #virtualreality #extendedreality
VA Immersive Program Manager Caitlin Rawlins, MSN, RN explained the utility of this virtual reality-based content on Fall Risk Assessment best: "For something like Fall Risk Assessment, without follow-up use, there’s no data on a decrease in fall risk, but that’s not really the intent of the content. The content is intended to make it easier for clinicians to capture a patient’s current fall risk in a manner that decreases inter-rater variability and makes the process of assessing fall risk more enjoyable and engaging for the user." Supporting staff and #Veterans across U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs through #immersivetechnology means that we get front row seats to see the impact! #headsinheadsets Special thanks to ORLANDO VA MEDICAL CENTER for your work! Waya Health's Fall Risk Assessment makes "it easier for clinicians to capture a patient’s current fall risk in a manner that decreases inter-rater variability and makes the process of assessing fall risk more enjoyable and engaging for the user." Caitlin Rawlins, MSN, RN - I could not have said it better myself. This immersive Fall Risk Assessment delivers a comprehensive analysis of a patients performance on tasks within the domains which may predispose a patient to falling. It is easy for providers to deploy and keeps the patient engaged. Moreover, it delivers actionable information in exponentially less time compared to how long it would take to complete all of the included assessments manually. Translation = less variation, more actionable information, more patient engagement, less provider time to conduct a more comprehensive assessment. In the near future, immersive technology will be pervasively integrated within better systems of healthcare. The amazing work being done by the VA today is helping to make that a reality for everyone! 🚀 Rahul P. Allen Rufolo Quentin Baker Carl Grey, MD FAAHPM Tim DeMint Becky Wallace Nunzio Pagano J. When it comes to the history of UFOs, there's more to the story than what's commonly known. AD Morgan Media on Patreon has conducted extensive research on coveted UFO technology and their possible origins, including extraterrestrial origins. Despite efforts to cover up the truth, there remains unequivocal evidence that something highly valued is being kept from the public. Historical documents dating back to the 1950s, including those from Hermann Oberth, RAND Corporation, and the Centre for UFO Studies, provide a consistent narrative on the interest in UFO technology. Additionally, research on torsion fields by Russian scientists has been relegated to the dusty recesses of science due to its connection with UFO technology and propulsion systems. AD Morgan Media on Patreon has made this accumulated information available for download. Join us in uncovering the truth. #ufo #uap #flyingsaucer #torsionfields #RAND #NASA #inertialmassreduction #otiscarr #depalma #hermannoberth #admorganmedia

Architecting teams, process and technology for fast flow of value, humane ways of working. Sooner Safer Happier Advocate, Team Topologies Advocate, VSMC Ambassador and nudger of systems 🤓
The older I get, the more I learn and observe, the more this frame resonates. "Do you want to be right, or do you want to be understood?" (said in the context of large organisations, seems to apply elsewhere). So much of my own naivete was learning something, and thinking that learning would easily sway people's behaviours. If only they knew, what I learned they would change their ways. Partnering, nudges, helping solve problems, role modelling, showing (with action and / or data) and social proof are far more powerful approaches. #humility #humble #learning #influence #naivete #behaviour

In the aftermath of the Kolkata rape case, I find myself grappling with the unsettling truth that the fear of ‘it could have been me’ is a constant presence in my life—and in the lives of so many women across India. This fear isn’t something we simply acquire; it’s embedded in us from the moment we’re born. Despite years of conversations and efforts, I’ve realized we’ve yet to find a way to break free from this mindset, to live without the constant dread that our safety is always at risk. But as I think about it more deeply, I recognize that it’s not just about us as women—it’s also about understanding who these perpetrators are. What twisted rationale and history shape their mindset, making them believe it’s acceptable to abuse another human being? Too often, I see that what’s presented as comfort and protection for women is merely a façade, masking the harsh reality that we don’t have real autonomy over our own lives and bodies. Do we genuinely have a say when it comes to our consent, or is it an illusion we’ve been taught to accept as freedom? This reality is hard to swallow—knowing we live under the shadow of violence, perpetuated by deeply flawed mindsets and systemic failures. I’m not sure if we, as women in India, even have the right to ask again: isn’t it time we confront this head-on, challenging not just the violence, but the mindset that sustains it? This isn’t just about safety; it’s about reclaiming our right to live freely and without fear.🙏 🇮🇳
At Apollo, we remain steadfast in our commitment to protect, heal, and uphold the dignity and safety of all who serve and seek care within our walls. #InSolidarity
