It’s always great being back in the city of Prince George, and I look forward to the BC Natural Resources Forum each year to catch up with old colleagues, friends and connections, and meet new ones. The forum is an opportunity to hear from First Nations, local governments, MLAs, natural resource companies and innovators about the great work underway in BC’s natural resource sectors, challenges to work on, and new opportunities on the horizon to add wealth and prosperity for communities around BC. As Premier Eby noted in his speech on opening night, the success of natural resource projects is key to the success of BC: “you can’t pour from an empty cup… We have to create wealth and we have to do it together.”
