BREAKING GROUND | The Landings at Gateway New development brings 39 townhomes to the Denver Metro Area. Haselden Builders, a subsidiary of Haselden Construction, officially broke ground on a new 89,000-square-foot multifamily residence bringing 39 townhome units to the area surrounding Denver International Airport. The development is the final installment of an existing master plan for the area that includes both commercial and residential space. Adding more inventory to the already strained Denver market will help efforts to reduce the housing burden on the Colorado community. As the Colorado population continues to boom, housing remains a strong market for the Denver Metro Area. Development is increasing exponentially along the I-70 corridor near Denver International Airport as Denver continues to expand east. As a locally owned and operated company, we are thrilled to witness Austin's continued growth💥 The teal in downtown Austin symbolizes upcoming developments. The aerial rendering of downtown Austin highlights buildings completed from 2023-2024 in gray, buildings under construction in red, and buildings in the planning stages in teal. Downtown Austin’s population increased by approximately 850 in 2023, bringing the total to 15,360, which is about 1.6% of Austin’s overall population, according to the DAA’s report. The surge in multifamily development downtown is accommodating the growing population. Last year, 1,303 new multifamily units were completed, with an additional 3,062 units currently under construction. These new units add to the existing supply of 3,242 condos and 7,082 apartments. Among the ongoing projects, the Waterline tower will become the tallest building in Texas upon completion. This is part of the 2.56 million square feet of office space currently under construction in downtown Austin.
