We are excited to introduce Multi-Fidelity Bind (MFBind), a framework for the multi-fidelity modeling of molecular docking and ABFE calculations using BAT2 (https://lnkd.in/ec96SjsY) to increase the practicality of molecular generative models. MFBind (1) outperforms other state of-the-art single and multi-fidelity baselines in surrogate modeling, and (2) boosts the performance of generative models with markedly higher quality compounds. This study highlights the potential of cheap ABFE calculations as a more accurate alternative to simple docking scoring, for training and evaluating AI generative models for drug compounds. Chin’s innovative research explores how glutamatergic neurons in the basal forebrain process sensory stimuli and drive behavior. Large-scale brain machine interfaces are a paradigm shift in #Neurotech. How to power them within safety limits is a crucial problem. Gian Luca Barbruni, PhD , PhD student in my lab, solved this fundamental problem by introducing a frequency-switching powering chain.
