On this Wednesday, our Hong Kong office staff members slotted in a special session to their outlook schedules to #unwind and #recharge with a complimentary massage at the Office. Two of our meeting rooms, typically used for brainstorming and discussions, were transformed into tranquil massage environments where stress melts away - soft lighting created a soothing atmosphere, and diffusers with calming fragrances were incorporated. Licensed massage therapists were present to provide our staff with massages focusing on the upper back, neck, shoulders, and arms. At #Asahi, we believe in meaningful connections both internally and externally. Every individual matters, and we are here to support and enhance our employees' #physical and #mental #wellness. The on-site massage is one initiative under our #EmployeeWellbeing Program to remind our employees of the importance of taking a little time for themselves and to express our gratitude for their hard work. And we have to thank the Hava Massage for the amazing experiences created for us! (Some of our employees are already asking when we might be able to see the Hava Team at the office again.) Here's to a healthier, happier workplace and a healthier and happier us. #AsahibeerAsia #wellbeing #health #wellness #meaningfulconnections #employeeengagement #Asahi

Public Service Announcement for Human Resources Employees: The Importance of Communication for Your Chair Massage Event Imagine this scenario: during a recent chair massage event, two excited employees eagerly made their way down for a relaxing massage after a long day at work. However, upon arrival, they were unexpectedly turned away. Why? Because they were unaware that signing up for a time slot was necessary. This incident highlights a crucial aspect of organizing chair massage events: communication. When companies require employees to sign up for time slots, especially for sessions exceeding 10 minutes, clear communication becomes paramount. Employees must be informed about how and where to sign up to avoid disappointment and ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved. So, Human Resources teams, remember to communicate effectively about your chair massage events. Provide detailed information on the sign-up process, including where to do it and by when. This simple step can make a world of difference in ensuring that all employees have the opportunity to enjoy and benefit from these rejuvenating sessions. #massagetherapist #Chairmassagebuffalo #chairmassagepitstop #chairmassage #onsitechairmassage #workplacewellness #onsitemassage #massage #chairmassage #buffalochairmassage #Chairmassagebuffalony #chairmassageevents #chairmassagesatwork #corporatechairmassage #employeeappreciation #corporateevents #chairmassageservices #massagetherapy #refuelmassagemembership #adaptivemassage #adaptivechairmassage #buffalo #buffalony #wellness #employeewellness

Assessing Employee Needs: The Foundation of a Successful Monthly Chair Massage Program Understanding your employees' needs and preferences is crucial when transitioning from an annual chair massage event to a monthly program. Conducting a thorough needs assessment will help ensure the program is well-received and effectively addresses the wellness goals of your team. Here are key steps to assess needs: Surveys and Questionnaires: Distribute anonymous surveys or questionnaires to gather insights on employees' interest in a monthly chair massage program. Include questions about preferred frequency, timing, and any specific concerns or preferences they might have. Focus Groups: Organize small focus group discussions with a diverse group of employees to delve deeper into their expectations and suggestions for the program. One-on-One Interviews: Conduct individual interviews with employees who have previously participated in the annual chair massage event to understand their experiences and gather detailed feedback. Usage Data Analysis: Review data from past chair massage events to identify trends and patterns in participation, such as peak times and popular massage styles. Pilot Programs: Implement a short-term pilot program offering monthly chair massages to a small group of employees, and use their feedback to refine the full-scale program. #EmployeeInsights #ChairMassage #WellnessPrograms #HRBestPractices #WorkplaceWellness

Leveraging Feedback to Perfect Your Annual Chair Massage Having an annual chair massage event is a wonderful perk for your team! Reflect on Feedback: Gather Insights: Collect detailed feedback from participants through surveys, emails, or direct conversations. Ask specific questions about various aspects of the event, such as the booking process, the quality of the massages, and the overall experience. Identify Trends: Analyze the feedback to identify common themes or suggestions. Look for recurring compliments or complaints to understand what aspects were well-received and what areas need improvement. Actionable Improvements: Use the feedback to make specific, actionable improvements for next year's event. For example, if multiple employees mention that the massage slots were too short, consider offering longer sessions or more slots to accommodate everyone. Share Feedback with Therapists: Communicate the feedback to the massage therapists. This ensures they are aware of what worked well and what could be improved, helping them tailor their services to better meet employee needs in the future. Transparency and Follow-Up: Share a summary of the feedback and your planned improvements with the employees. This transparency builds trust and shows that their opinions are valued. Let them know how their feedback will shape future events, reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement. #AnnualChairMassage #EmployeeWellness #HRTips #CorporateWellness #WorkplaceWellness #MassageTherapy #EmployeeEngagement #WellnessAtWork #HRProfessionals #EmployeeCare

Listen and Learn: Enhancing Your Corporate Onsite Chair Massage Program After Negative Employee Feedback Negative feedback is a valuable tool for enhancing your corporate onsite chair massage program. One of the first steps to improvement is to Listen and Learn. Collect detailed feedback from employees to understand specific pain points, whether it’s about pressure, technique, session length, or ambiance. Here’s how to effectively handle negative feedback: Survey and Collect: Regularly survey employees after their massage sessions. Ask specific questions about their experience to gather actionable insights. Analyze Trends: Look for common themes in the feedback. Are multiple employees mentioning the same issues? This can highlight areas needing immediate attention. Personalize Solutions: Understand that each employee may have different preferences. Consider offering varied pressure levels and techniques to cater to individual needs. Enhance Ambiance: The massage environment plays a crucial role. Ensure the room is inviting with proper lighting, calming music, and a clean, comfortable setup. Communicate Changes: Inform employees about the steps being taken to address their feedback. This shows that their opinions matter and builds trust. By genuinely listening to their concerns and making informed adjustments, you can transform negative feedback into a powerful driver for creating a more satisfying and effective massage experience. #EmployeeWellbeing #CorporateMassage #FeedbackMatters #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceWellness #ContinuousImprovement #HRInsights #EmployeeSatisfaction #WellnessAtWork #ChairMassageProgram #ListenAndLearn #EmployeeFeedback

Spa and Wellness Consultant | Expert in Managing Spa Portfolios, Guest Experience Optimisation, and Operational Excellence for the Hospitality Industry
This morning, I had the pleasure of sharing a cup of coffee with Sunette van der Merwe van der Merwe from Amani Spa and Wellness, and it was a truly inspiring conversation. In the spa industry, wellness is not just about adding a wellness treatment or facility alongside a spa service, or ticking a box—as Sunette would say. It’s about the deeper, unconditional message that comes through in every action, every treatment, and every interaction. True wellness is lived, breathed, and felt in how we connect with our guests and create an environment that nurtures both body and soul. Sunette and I both share the belief that training is essential—operational training, technical training, and, as importantly, the often underappreciated areas of personal development and company culture training. This ensures that the company’s values are communicated seamlessly from the executive committee to management, and right through to every therapist and tea lady on the floor. When every team member embodies this message, it translates into a consistent experience for our guests—a message of well-being that starts within ourselves. That’s the true gift of hospitality: sharing that sense of wellness with others. Our conversation reinforced the importance of creating a culture that embraces this holistic approach—where every treatment is more than just a task, but a genuine gift we offer to our guests and ourselves. It’s about fostering environments where wellness, authenticity, and shared values are at the core of everything we do. Moments like these remind me of how vital it is to align with professionals who share our commitment to growth, development, and a lasting impact on the spa and wellness industry. Here’s to those who lead with purpose, passion, and a focus on both personal and professional growth! #Wellness #SpaIndustry #HolisticWellness #Leadership #GrowthMindset #HospitalityExcellence #TrainingAndDevelopment #CompanyCulture
