A cross-section of our intermediate sulphidation epithermal system at #Paguanta in #Chile. The Cathedral & Central areas make up part of the resource of 2.4Mt @ 88g/t #silver, 5.0% #zinc and 1.4% #lead for 6.8Moz ag, 265Mlb zn and 74Mlb pb The deposit has a AgEq resource of 18.2m ounces silver and is open at depth and to the east. The deepest hole ended in mineralisation of - 1,765g/t silver, 12% zinc, 7.5% lead, 1.7g/t gold

Primary chalcopyrite (copper sulphide) mineralisation now identified at Stelar Metals' Baratta Copper Project in South Australia in copper-haematite breccias indicative of a substantial primary copper mineralising system. #SLB’s new copper discovery suggests Baratta is close to a source of a primary #copper system and is considered highly prospective consistent for Sediment-hosted Stratabound Copper mineralisation analogous to the Central African Copper Belt. Based on the newly discovered Visible Gold, bismuth minerals, molybdenite & chalcopyrite in the felsic to intermediate porphyritic dykes on Surebet as well as in the intrusions surrounding Surebet (i.e. Blue Origin) that strongly resemble a RIRG system, the Company has increased its 100% controlled land package from 66,000 ha to 91,518 ha (28% increase) to include open ground amenable to this type of mineralization 👉 https://lnkd.in/g8tDY2GF

Chalcopyrite is a copper iron sulfide (CuFeS2) mineral with a brassy to golden yellow color (Fig. 1.36). Chalcopyrite contains 34.5% Cu, 30.5% Fe, and 35.0% S. The mineral is the principal source of copper metal, and one of the major source of sulfur.

RETENTION TIME IN GOLD LEACHING The retention time in gold #leaching is crucial, determining the contact time between gold particles and reagents. . It typically ranges from 12-48 hours in a leach section, with most #gold plants operating between 24-36 hours. . Longer residence times can lead to lower residue values and improved #extraction rates, as seen in tests where extending the residence time resulted in a significant decrease in solid residue #grade and increased extraction by more than 5%. . The choice of retention time is influenced by factors like #ore grade, nature of the ore, and the specific leaching method being employed.

Flotation is suitable for processing the gold-bearing sulfide ore which with fine and floatable gold particles, during flotation , sulfide ore act as the carrier of gold and is enriched to sulfide mineral concentrate . Flotation can be also used to process multi-metal which containing sulfide mineral and carbonic mineral . For the mineral insoluble that can`t be processed by amalgam or cyanidation , which should use a combined process that including flotation .

In small-scale #goldmine, using a wet pan mill is a common practice, especially when processing alluvial gold and coarse-grained gold ores. If you want to increase efficiency, you may consider introducing a small ball mill to replace or complement the wet pan mill. #goldprocessing #ballmill #wetpanmill #goldplant #shakingtable
