As back-to-school season begins, it’s important to keep students safe near the road. Always stop for school buses. Not only is passing a school bus dangerous for students, it is against the law! Students may stand several feet away from a bus at a stop, or cross the street when boarding or getting off the bus. Remember to be mindful of surrounding areas as children could run to catch the bus. 🟡 Yellow flashing lights indicate the bus is preparing to stop – slow down and prepare to stop your vehicle. 🔴 Red flashing lights and extended stop arms indicate children are getting on or off – stop your car until the red lights stop flashing, the extended stop-arm is withdrawn, and the bus begins moving.

🤝Last month, Asbury donated $50,000 to HBCU Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, also known as Florida A&M or FAMU. The check was presented during the annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge. The Cricket MEAC/SWAC Challenge kickoff features teams from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). HBCU’s FAMU and Norfolk State went head-to-head, and FAMU won! We are proud to play a role in advancing our local community through generous guest donations and our partnership with HBCU Change. #Community #Education #BecauseWeCare
