📍A scRNA-seq signature of freezing marked by heightened stress and activation Stamper et al. found that thawing of viably frozen human tissue T cells, ILCs, and NK cells impacts on recovery of cellular subclusters after scRNA-seq. While freeze-thawing does not alter the transcriptional profiles of cells, it upregulates genes and gene pathways associated with stress and activation. ➡ More details: https://lnkd.in/e8wnvzjb #spatialomics #spatialbiology #singlecellanalysis #singlecell

Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is a neurodegenerative disorder with movement symptoms that rapidly worsen and lead to life-threatening complications. In three different species, NIA-funded researchers examined how PSP influences gene expression in specific types of brain cells. The experiments and analysis discovered three genes — DDR2, STOM, and KANK2 — as possible therapeutic targets.
