MCIOB; MBA(Open), Consultant | Facilitator | Motivational Speaker | Co-author | Educator (Strategic Creativity & Innovation; SHEQ; Men's Health & Wellbeing - Prostate Cancer, Mental Health & Suicide Prevention)
THE PERFECT GUIDE TO NAVIGATE COMPLEXITY AND INTENSE EMOTION My sincere and grateful thanks to Elinor Moshe, who is the highly talented, motivating force behind The Construction Coach, for approaching me during 2023 to be involved in her fourth book, 'Secrets of the Construction Industry'. Consequently, I am proud and privileged to be one of the thirty-two contributing co-authors of Elinor's premiere collaborative anthology. It gives rise to our personal guiding principles that have never failed to yield exemplary results when we have applied them during our careers in the construction industry. It is an excellent opportunity for us to share the resulting wisdom of our collective experiential learning, with likeminded people who seek to continually improve the construction sector's performance, and its ability to attract the most coveted talent that there is. 'Secrets of the Construction Industry' is a foundational principle that if applied in its totality, would eradicate the nub of a multitude of the construction industry’s recurring challenges. By Pre-ordering your copy of this powerful and insightful book, you shall acquire a compendium of highly instructive material. The perfect guide in fact, for navigating the complexity and intense emotion that proliferates throughout the global construction sector. For those carriers, property managers, and risk managers dealing with Florida condo's- check out the post below on the new requirements on the Florida Building Commission's Milestone Inspection Program! #florida #condominiums #buildingcode #propertymanagement #riskmanagement #milestoneinspection #floridabuildingcommission
Prema's leadership recently participated in the Florida Building Commission's "Existing Building — Milestone Inspection Program" webinar that provided vital insights into the new mandatory inspection requirements for Florida's residential condominiums and cooperatives. The key takeaways from the session include: Florida residential condos/cooperatives of 3 and 3+ stories must undergo milestone inspections by a PE or RA after 30 years and every 10 years thereafter. Phase 1 involves an initial qualitative assessment of structural conditions. Phase 2 is triggered if substantial structural deterioration is found in Phase 1. Aligned with these regulatory demands, Prema offers comprehensive support for both phases of the FL Mandatory Milestone Inspection Program. To learn more about our milestone inspection services, reach out to us today! Contact the attorneys at Conner Gwyn Schenck PLLC if you have questions about how the Buy America requirements apply to your infrastructure project. #BuyAmerica
