Yesterday we celebrated our 6th Annual International Women in Engineering Day at the Altadena Town & Country Club with over 85 attendees! This year we featured food and decorations from women-owned businesses, scholarship awards, a memorable game of trivia, a panel discussion with Minerva Rodriguez, P.E., PMP, Tamara O'Neal, and Maral Sarkissian moderated by Claris Purasinghe, and a keynote presentation by Marsia "Marsie" Geldert-Murphey, P.E., F.ASCE. Thank you to all those who attended helping us to uplift women engineers in society. We are so proud of how this event has developed over the years and are excited to continue to grow it in the future. A special thank you to all our sponsors who helped make this event possible including our Title Sponsors Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Parsons Corporation, and NV5.
