When does someone become a leader? Is it when they’re promoted to a #management position? Or perhaps when they undergo #LeadershipTraining? Personally, I think it’s neither. People can be leaders well before either of these things happen. To me, leadership is about inspiring people to be the best they can be. Anyone can do that if they have the right skills. In my experience, this means being able to challenge the people around us to think outside the box without making them feel blocked at every turn. I think that we need to place more focus on this and less on leadership ‘titles’. This way, we end up promoting those who are already leaders instead of playing catch up. #Leadership #LeadershipSkills
