Ready for another inspiring story of one of our #VRPTeam members? 🫶 Meet Jenny Boettinger-Kanawati. We interviewed her to share her story of learning, growth and an amazing impact on the team. Read it below: 🏢 VRP: When did you start at the company and what’s been happening in the meantime? 👩🏻🦱 Jenny: I joined VRP over five years ago with limited Salesforce experience and have learnt so much since then. I've worked on increasingly complex projects, mentored colleagues, helped identify and improve processes and was recently promoted from Senior Consultant to Solution Architect. 🏢 VRP: Well-deserved! What has been the biggest highlight of working here? 👩🏻🦱 Jenny: The opportunity to design and execute quarterly retrospective team meetings. The goal was to have a standardised process for our global consultant team that brings us together in small focus groups every three months to review what went well, what didn't and how our work life can be improved. We held the first events in Q3 and the feedback was enthusiastic, so we've already planned the next series of meetings for Q4. 🏢 VRP: That’s great - well done. 👩🏻🦱 Jenny: Thank you. What I liked best about this was that several actions and initiatives that were brought up during these meetings have already been set in motion and we can see how our voices can directly impact and improve our ways of working and therefore the quality of our work life. 🏢 VRP: Looking forward to seeing the results! Do you feel the company has been engaged in you as an employee - in your progress and your career as a whole? Also, do you feel valued here? 👩🏻🦱 Jenny: VRP and my managers have always encouraged me to study towards the certifications that I was most interested in and to take over responsibility. Whenever I come up with suggestions about implementing new processes or improving existing ones, they encourage me to develop and present my ideas. “People show up for you in this community.” 💛 🤝 One of my favorite quotes from last night as Jessica Garrett, MBA and I hosted another epic ATL Pavilion salon dinner with 21 of our executive members. The table was filled with some OG members (who were repping for #RevenueCollective), others who were entirely new to Pavilion, and existing members who recently upgraded from our associate program. They all shared stories about how different people at the table had shown up for them in different ways. Whether it was helping them land a new job, sharing their expertise to help with an important project, or simply being a sounding board for a tough experience they were going through. We really have an all-star community here 🤩 Some of the conversation highlights included: 👉 The Pavilion Revenue Architecture course was a hot topic as a majority of members had taken the course and found a TON of value from it, even recently using it in some of their recruiting conversations. #BowtieFramework was the buzzword of the night ... and if you’re thinking about taking the course, Greg Collins would encourage you to do so! 👉 The job market is still ever-changing. While more roles seem to be opening up, navigating where the funding is going (no longer pure play SaaS) and also recognizing title variations (CMO/CRO roles seemingly drying up and being replaced with Head Of or VP titles instead) appears to be new territory. 👉 Strategic planning for 2025 is already underway and a lot of leaders are once again “rubbing nickels together” to find creative ways to increase growth on flat budgets. One of THOSE posts incoming... Off the heels of an incredible composable transformation, one of the first end-to-end in retail and in the Americas, I became an ambassador for the MACH Alliance in 2020, and joined Valtech in 2021 to lead technology strategy and to provide guidance to enterprise organizations on similar paths. It is bittersweet to announce that the last month represented my last working days at Valtech and tomorrow will be my last day. My time has been filled with some incredible people, clients, transformations, and challenges. Valtech has grown 3x over my tenure alone, and as they say, the only constant has been change. Together, we established the first Composable center of excellence, launched global training academies, matured our partnerships with commercetools, Contentful, Contentstack, Algolia, Fluent Commerce, and so many more that come with Composable territory, acquired a portfolio of incredible organizations, and went all in as advisors and partners with some of the worlds top brands, from the early days with Mars and M&M's, to Tiffany, and beyond.
