I like to highlight one indigenous principle here: Make decisions not only with your family in mind, but the next 7 generations coming after you. How would that change your decisions when applied to your life?
In honor of International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, we suggest taking a moment to listen. Listen to the voices of the Indigenous community, respect the culture, and acknowledge whose land you’re really standing on. 👑 I witnessed a historic transition in Denmark this weekend with Queen Margrethe II abdicating and Crown Prince Frederik ascending as King Frederik X, it's a moment that reminds us of the power of legacy and change. This event isn't just a page in the history books; it's a symbol of progression and evolution. 🌍 In 2024, as we embrace new leadership and new eras, let's also make it the year of action. We face global challenges that require decisive action - climate change, economic disparities, and the urgent need to protect against IT-crimes. 🔥 This year should be about translating our discussions into actions. Just as Denmark steps into a new chapter, we too can step up to make tangible changes. Whether it's in sustainability, inclusivity, or technological security, let's make 2024 the year we move from words to deeds. #Leadership #GlobalAction #Denmark #KingFrederikX #NewEra

Preserving cultural heritage necessarily requires ensuring conservation of soil, water and ecosystem services of natural resources and solution of hunger. Soil and Water Conservation for Sustainable Food Production, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem services of natural resources should be given top priority in the prevalent climatic anomaly related disaster management in all types of land uses. This approach of land use management will be helpful for reducing unusual anthropogenic pressures on natural resources. Thus, it will be helpful for achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. So, present agricultural research and field works should be targeted on application of soil and water conservation methods in individual agricultural plots and further development of Soil and Water Conservation as a full-fledged stream of science. https://lnkd.in/gfNX4CjA https://lnkd.in/g-my6P6D
