In the day-to-day life of a Security/SOC Analyst, coding may or may not be part of the job. However, as you move into higher tiers or engineering roles, having coding skills becomes increasingly necessary. The reality is that coding has been an in-demand skill for a long time, yet there are many people who don’t know how to code or simply don’t want to learn.
