🇺🇸 Second recipe I did along with the farro cake with pears was a complete disaster I wanted to create a high-protein bread alternative that was tasty but I didn't consider that it had to rise a bit This time was just good and perfect as I expected, patience and perseverance are my motto right now What do we need: 💠200gr whole wheat flour 💠200gr Greek yogurt 💠1 tablespoon of instant yeast 💠water as needed 💠everything bagel seasoning 👩🏻🍳 Let’s cook: Add the instant yeast to a couple of tablespoons of warm water and let it rest for at least 5 minutes In a large bowl combine the flour with the yogurt (also some salt if you like it) and the water with the yeast First, mix it with a fork then start to knead it with your hands until smooth Cover it with a plastic wrap and let it rise for the night In the morning divide the dough in 4 and shape your bagel (tip: use wet hands if the dough is sticky it will help with shaping), brush them with beaten egg, and top them with everything beagle seasoning Let it rise for at least 30 mins on the Airfryer/oven and then bake for about 40mins at 350 I stuff it with cottage cheese, smoked salmon, and pickles🤤 . . . #weightloss #federicatorres #onlinefitnesscoach #healthyrecipes #healthyfood

Mornings are made better with Gluten Free Pumpkin Scones ⭐️ I love baking with pumpkin & cranberries during the fall season, so why not combine them in one quick & simple recipe? When made as simple drop scones, this recipe also only takes about 5 minutes to make, and 10 minutes to bake. Thanks to my gfJules Flour, they're soft & moist, without any of the grittiness often found in gluten-free baked goods. https://buff.ly/2yhZaGM

It’s Friday y’all! Are you ready to start the weekend off with a healthy snack that will satisfy your sweet tooth? Best of all, it only has 3 ingredients! Here’s how you can make my favorite treat: strawberry lemon sorbet. 🍓🍋 You can freeze fresh strawberries but I just bought one frozen bag to make my life easier. I blended this in a food processor but you can also try a powerful blender. You can store it in the freezer and let it thaw before enjoying but this is the best when eaten right away 😋 Ingredients: - 1lb bag or about 3 cups frozen strawberries - 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice—add more if needed - 1-2 tsp honey or more to taste Directions: - add frozen strawberries to a food processor along with fresh squeezed juice from lemons and honey and blend - be patient while blending, making sure to scrape the sides as you go, it can take a couple minutes to get the right consistency - for a softer sorbet enjoy here or freeze in a container for at least an hour or two for a thicker, more sorbet-like texture Yum, yum, give me some! Don't blame me if you get addicted. 😉 #sorbet #treatyourself

Taco oyster crackers are a hit with everyone. Doubtful? Just set out a bowl and watch them disappear. These seasoned crackers are a spin on a childhood favorite snack. They require few ingredients, quick to whip up, and can be stored for days in an airtight container, although the chances of them lasting that long are pretty slim. They're a crunchy snack that are far too easy to eat. You can find the recipe for this salty treat on the blog. https://lnkd.in/eMt2Y3vi

May 26th is National Blueberry Cheesecake Day. Observe the day by enjoying a slice of our favorite Kars4Kids blueberry cheesecake--see recipe below our short history of two of America's favorite foods: History of Blueberries and Cream Cheese There was a time when people only gathered blueberries from the wild. It wasn't until the early 1900s through the observations of Elizabeth Coleman White and the research of Dr. Frederick V. Coville that successful transplanting and domestication of the blueberry became possible. It wasn't long after that commercial production of the blueberry began. Cream cheese has been a part of America's recipe repertoire since about the 1820s. However, after the advent of pasteurization, mass production became possible. One dairy farmer from Chester, New York, decided to be the first. William A. Lawrence purchased a Neufchatel factory to begin his production and in 1873 the first mass-produced cream cheese became a reality. Kars4Kids Blueberry Cheesecake Yield: 16 servings · 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs · 3 Tbsp. sugar · 1/3 cup butter, melted · 4 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened · 1 cup sugar · 1 tsp. vanilla · 4 eggs · 1 can blueberry pie filling Method: 1. Heat oven to 325°F. 2. Combine graham crumbs, 3 Tbsp. sugar and melted butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan 3. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla until well combined. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed, until just blended. Pour filling over crust. 4. Bake for 55 minutes or until center of cheesecake is almost set and doesn’t jiggle. 5. Cool cheesecake on rack 6. When cool, spread blueberry pie filling over top of cheesecake, run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake 7. Refrigerate cheesecake 4 hours 8. Remove pan, serve #america #food #history #baking
