In a world where work dynamics continually evolve, Paola stresses the importance of HR leaders staying ahead of the curve and aligning R&R programs with the pulse of the modern workforce. Paola asserts that adapting to employees' changing expectations is paramount. From the rise of remote work to a growing emphasis on holistic well-being, today's workforce seeks R&R initiatives that resonate with their values and aspirations. By embracing trends such as personalized recognition and growth opportunities, HR leaders can foster an environment where employees feel valued and motivated. Accelerating Your Success through Leadership Speaking - Keynotes, Masterclasses and Personalised Development
Only 3 weeks to go HR Horizon 2023 - HR as a Catalyst for Success Looking forwards to speaking at #horizonsummit in Amsterdam in just 3 weeks and hearing insights from so many other leading thinkers and practitioners. Thanks to Mihály Nagy, CEO The HR Congress for the invitation. With an audience of 500 CHROs and senior HR leaders the Summit is a showcase for the HR professions route to its future, especially with the talented and future focused Perry Timms chairing it. The pace of change in our world, our work and our lives is constant. Overlay that with the uncertainty, disruption and conflict we see around and just doing what we need to do now is tough enough let alone building the future at the same time. But we have to do both to succeed. C suite can't do that on their own, leaders can't do that on their own, people can't do that on their own, HR has to be a dynamic catalyst to help them achieve that by unleashing the full potential power of people in any organisation. Why help them ? Because no matter how great the ideas from HR, no matter how much data HR has, HR can't make it happen itself. That's the constant challenge for HR, how to present an inspiring and compelling case for action with a practical road map for delivery and then let others make it reality to Accelerate Success. Thats the challenge #hrhorizon will answer. #hrhorizon #entrepreneurialleadership #acceleratedleadership

Happy December! It is time to look towards 2024 and HR trends. As I started to look at the trends it was interesting to see a divergence between different sources on what HR will be focused on in 2024(in past year most experts seem to align more closely than this year). One trend everyone agreed on was Generative AI in HR was going to be a focus area. Some thought DEI and others were wellness were important trends. The article I thought was most interesting was the Gartner one, and I would recommend downloading their study to read the whole thing, see their interesting graphs and insights. Key highlights from Gartner's research: -Key reasons for focus areas: *Unsettled relationship between employees and employers around: flexibility, productivity and mistrust on both sides * Continued skill shortage * Rising AI impact on organizations and HR *Pressure for operational efficiency -Trends: *Leadership and manager development as they are overwhelmed with the growth of their responsibilities and aren't equipped to manage the change. *Managers are cracking and it isn't more training they need, but building the right skills (easier said than done) by evolve the job itself by reset role expectations, rebuild manager pipeline, rewire manager habits, and remove hurdles -Uncertainty of how to evolve the hybrid culture -HR technologies * HR leaders unsure which technologies to pick and guiding principals on how to decide -Change management *There has been so much change over the last two years there is change fatigue -Career management and internal mobility *Traditional career paths are out and a more web based career paths are designed around company skills needs and employee interests Do you agree with these trends? Which ones do you most agree with and which ones do you think are missing? What do you wish was a trend that isn't showing up on this list? https://lnkd.in/gKt4KJDi
