They are hiring a General Manager to lead the Structures teams throughout the production and sales process. The General Manager is responsible for the daily functions and operations as they pertain to structuring production quality, sales, and operations. They will support and aid the team in delivering best-in-class results through training, mentorship, process improvement, and more. Focus: Take an active role in managing the facility and plant team, identifying opportunities for improvement, and offering employee coaching. Build structure for division operations through team management including budget, workflow, scheduling, KPI's, and more. Organize proper trainings and ensure safety standards and production/sales compliance is met. Work cross-functionally with both internal teams and customers to support quality, performance, sales, and production value initiatives. Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and with proper documentation. Review production reports and manage inventory, production issues, and overall sales cycle. Communicate efficiently with clients and resolve any questions or concerns. Ensure proper sanitation, environmental, health, and safety of plant. Skill Set 10+ years of leadership experience within a production, manufacturing, and/or sales environment. Must have experience managing at least 2 org chart levels, i.e., direct reports who have direct reports. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. Master's degree, a strong plus. Ability to implement processes, set goals, and gauge areas for improvement from an overall business standpoint. Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems for material management, production, and sales. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire excellence and lead with purpose. Experience establishing KPIs and reporting metrics to customers and upper management through clear communication. Background leading a range of department type
