Want to get into golf? 🤷♂️No idea what to do or where to start. Here are some insights from my experience as a Golf Professional. 1. 🏌️♂️Practice Practice Practice!!! Nothing will replace simply getting out there a learning by doing. Spend time at the driving range, putting green, and play rounds whenever possible. 2. 💹Invest in Lessons: It's crucial to learn the right techniques from the start. - Aim to get a lesson package which will save you 10% - Join clinics, a cost effective way of practicing while picking up a few tips along the way. 3.👫 Find a golf buddy: Team up with a friend learning to play golf and lock in a day of the week that you both go practice or play. 4. 🛠️Equipment: Consider starting with a used golf club set, with a budget of around $150 to get you swinging. Opting for club rental can quickly deplete that $150 at the driving range within just a few sessions. By the way, don't forget to purchase a glove. 5. ⌛Be Patient: Rome wasn’t built in a day, give yourself a solid 12 month commitment to the game. It’s hard to notice the improvements but I guarantee after 12months will be dramatic. In a nutshell, it all comes down to practice, make it fun and create group to learn.
