Breast cancer risk increases significantly with age, a factor frequently overlooked. As such, women should commence regular check-ups at 50, and men at 60. Additionally, immediate medical evaluation is essential upon detecting initial signs of breast cancer. #khambifuneralservices #manyhandsmakelightwork #BreastCancerAwareness #pinkweek

Powerful use case
This is why #EarlyDetection is so important. See the case below, where Transpara served as a second pair of eyes by detecting the cancerous region early on. ⏩ Three screening exams of a 70-year-old woman between 2010 and 2016. ⏩ In 2010 and 2012, she was not recalled for further examination by either reader. ⏩ In 2016, she was diagnosed with grade 2 invasive breast cancer. ⏩ While the reason for no recall earlier is unknown, #Transpara flagged the cancer region in 2010 with a region score of 81 and the highest exam score of 10 ❗ ⏩ Region scores increased in subsequent screenings until the diagnosis in 2016. #BreastCancer #HealthAI

Men don't get mammograms. Yes, breast cancer in men is rare, occurring in less than 1%. But that doesn't make awareness any less important. In fact, if they find a lump, men are likely to put off seeing a doctor. And they might even be told to simply "keep an eye on it". This is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There is no exclusion here. Men need to be part of these conversations and events not only in the context of support providers or effected loved-ones, but for their own health as well. Please check out the link in my comment below to learn about early detection for men. #breastcancerawarenessmonth #menshealth #menhavebreaststoo
