I have come to see that one of the downfalls of a typical Africa business is the failure to recognise the difference between business and family. This could be as a result of our attachment and loyalty to the bond of blood-related relationships. We often allow sentiment to cloud our judgement in choosing family members -- siblings, children, spouses etc- over someone who is fit, capable, knowledgeable, and experienced for the job. No wonder Africa businesses relatively lack continuity and longevity. This post however does not support distrust in family relationships but advises that business should remain what it is...... BUSINESS.

HOW TO DO BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE IN THE DIASPORA People in the diaspora live in Zambia , their physical bodies are in America or England but their being lives here . They make money in America or whatever that is enough to live comfortably there . With the money they make , they cannot start a business in America , am sure with the restrictions on their VISA they might not even be allowed to do that . The money they make however is a lot in Zambia , Like alot alot .. imagine minimum wage there is 2000 usd that is 56 pin . now imagine how much a skilled worker gets , maybe 4000 to 5000 USD which is between 100,000 - 140,000 per month . With this money they can easily finance your kama business idea . Infact they want to have something happening in zambia because their money kept in America doesn’t do much , it ends with just buying clothes and occasional self indulgences . Their money makes sense in Zambia not there . These people want to do business but its hard for them to find a reliable partner who will not squander the business capital . They dream of building an empire that would make them proud the next time they visit . Now communicating a business idea to these guys is the challenge . You need to communicate the idea via a business plan that shows , your mission , objectives opportunities , current cashflows , projected cashflows after capital injection , financial statements so that the investor has to know his assets from the deep fryer to the people that work for you . The investor has to trust you and that is done in your thoroughness in your presentation . You also have to let the investor employ someone who directly reports to them but is under your instruction for assurance for them . That way they can send a chi 20,000 dollars . I have premade business plans that you can present to them for only K100 each . Try it and see what happens . Reach out on whatsapp ( +260 975 080 056 ) Also if you are in the diaspora but need someone to set things up for you right here in zambia , I am your guy , as long as you have money and are serious , you can whatsapp me too and I will get your business registered and flowing . Reach out

Just find purpose and you wouldn't run out of energy. Just Find purpose... For yourself or for your business. Why do you do what you do? Whose problem are you solving? Is it worth it? Most people get into businesses without a mission and then wonder why they become inconsistent along the way when the money isn't forthcoming yet. It's basically because you do not know your "why". Your mission or purpose is the reason you wake up everyday and swear to go harder each time. It gives you direction so you don't stop at everything calling your attention and then lose your focus. Focus is energy. If your mission is to get to Lagos, you can drive into the highway and take a turn towards portharcourt. But if your mission is to get to Lagos and Help Tony Elumelu hack a locked macbook and recover a missing document in his office, then you'll stop nowhere until you get to Lagos. Because someone with value is waiting and frustrated and needs your services in exchange for value. Your mission is to solve his problems. Your purpose keeps you coordinated. Why you, why your business? Why start? Please answer that question today and see the energy you'll feel to be consistent afterwards. For example, at DEXA we are reducing unemployment and cyber crime among Africa's employable population, through distribution of high income Digital skills and helping everyday people begin careers in tech seamlessly. Even without a degree. This is why I wake up every day and know Rwanda needs me, Kenya needs my company, Nigeria calls out for me, Madagascar needs us, Malawi is open to receive us, etc. Find your mission. Find the purpose for which you exist and put it at the forefront of your decisions and you'll never burn out of ideas or energy. #South Africa's Current Economy Problems: - Economy Stagnation - High levels of unemployment 32,9% - Lack of Leadership and Vision for SA - Corruption - Poor Education - Lack of Business Skills - No to non-existent Innovation - Slay Queen Culture Solutions: Proper Entrepreneurial Business schools are required which must be subsidized by the our government if they really care about the future of this nation. We need a lot of entrepreneurs which will be enabled to handle major corporations which must be founded in SA. We need to establish factories where we create jobs , especially for Mega construction and steel companies. We need to produce many products from shoes, clothes, cars, jewelry etc. to a point that jobs are plenty and our strategy would not be on pricing like our Asian counterparts but it would be based on Authenticity and quality of our products to ensure that we pay our staff well. When was the last time we Innovated a revolutionary product like what Chev Research and Development are working on at the moment which is the Compressed Air Powered Engine , which if successful bye bye to fuesil full engine. This are the realities. Are we exploiting the Drone Delivery possibilities? Are we exploring the 3D printer opportunities? Are we exploring the AI technology opportunities? Are we exploring the VR opportunities? What is the next level of social media , is it Meta? Planning to start a podcast called Unemployment which will grow into a business school where the subscription will be enabled with various skills and capabilities to start their own businesses and run them. How this is going to be done will be to buy old factories 🏭 revive them and let the entrepreneurs run with them. Make them profitable again. The entrepreneurs will be guided by mentors when faced with difficulties. To curb corruption we need to be guided by principles which will enable us to be accountable to one another and always think about the damage that we might cause to other people. As for education we need to apply practical stunts which will accommodate everyone according to individuals interest and the vision of the country, which will feed in the vision of the world 🌎 Love South Africa 🇿🇦

Business Botswana has outlined key expectations for the new government, emphasising the need to reduce bureaucratic barriers, enhance transparency, and ensure long-term economic sustainability. In this period of transition, businesses are looking for a more streamlined and efficient regulatory environment, with reduced red tape that impedes business growth and innovation. Clear and predictable government policies are also essential for businesses to plan, invest, and grow. They have also called on the new government to focus on long-term economic sustainability, balanced fiscal management, and inclusive growth which is vital for the prosperity of the economy. Finally, they urged the new administration to prioritise platforms for regular dialogue between the government and businesses, enabling a constructive exchange of ideas to shape policies that benefit both sectors. Business Botswana also advocates for policies promoting innovation, infrastructure development, and job creation, as these are critical pillars for ensuring a robust economy.

EVERY NIGERIAN CEO NUMBER TASK IN 2025: REDUCE THE FINANCIAL BURDEN ON YOUR BUSINESS One of my guys that used to own a trucking company with a fleet of trucks just sold the last truck and is currently looking for paid employment What could have happened to such a thriving company to have folded within the last 12 months. One of the reasons a lot of CEOs are facing serious challenges in their business is as a result of the surge in financial burden on their businesses The current recession that we are experiencing has increased the financial load that a lot of businesses are carrying These are loads that look legitimate but which are slowly crushing your business to death Part of your strategy for thriving in 2025 is to reduce the amount of financial burden on your business. This might entail 1. Cutting down on number of staff 2. Seeking alternative ways of solving business challenges that you normally pay others to solve for you 3. Using better quality service providers so that the value you get out of every kobo your business spends with be worth it 4. Ignoring certain business needs that you know with time will resolve themselves Most importantly though is the demand for financial support from families and friends. This may look like a tough one but this is just the time to be selective of the families and friends that you are supporting financially. A challenged business of 2024 my not be able to survive the upcoming pressure of 2025. As business owners, we need to operate like surgeons. There are tough decisions that a surgeon needs to make like cutting off a patient limb just to save the patient. You too need to look at cuts to make to your business financial outflows just to save the business in 2025. Hopefully by 2026, a whole lot will improve in Nigeria but until then, lets support our business to stay in business in 2025 I remain EMENNE IFEANYI THE WISE KANSELOR AND I HELP CEOs MAKE THEIR BUSINESSES MORE PROFITABLE AND SUSTAINABLE CONTACT MY TEAM TODAY FOR ALL YOUR STAFF RECRUITMENT NEEDS AND ALSO JOIN MY FREE CLASS ON UNDERSTANDING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ITS USE CASE IN AFRICA
