🇸🇬 Happy National Day, Singapore! A nation renowned for its knowledge-driven, resilient, and forward-looking spirit. Wishing all my Singaporean friends and colleagues continued success and prosperity. In the West, we can certainly admire—and perhaps envy—how you consistently turn dreams into reality. Singapore is the prime example of science-based country and the justification why other small nations should not stop dreaming.
Happy National Day, Singapore! This year, we proudly celebrate 59 years of independence. As we reflect on our nation's journey and achievements, let us continue working towards a better tomorrow together, as one united people!

CEO @flibco.com |🇪🇺 European Young Leader 2024 (EYL40) | Expert digital transformation, change management and new work
What Royals and modern leadership have in common! Last week, we had the honor of welcoming Princess Astrid of Belgium to the grand opening of our new Mobility Center in Brussels Charleroi. This brought me to the broader question if there are any similarities in between a tradition-driven monarchy and the state of the art leadership we are observing in many companies nowadays. And in fact, I saw a few: Comittment to service & community - what means an involvement in humanitarian and public health efforts for Princess Astrid, is the impact of sustainable transport solutions and innovative workplace practices for us at Flibco. Being royal means being a royal role model too - while I sometimes feel like being a involuntary Influencer for digital transformation, the power of serving tradition, continuity & national identity is one of the main responsibilities of people like Princess Astrid too. Progressive thinking & diplomacy - what sounds like being totally standard, is a challenge on the second thought. Royals need to balance tradition with state of the art, like we try to combine our core values (to never forget where we came from) with innovation too. My deepest respect goes out of the responsibility & actions of the rare Royal families that still act on behalf of European countries. While we are mostly talking about company »leaders« on LinkedIn, looking at those of other categories is worth it too.

That's a wonderful message for ISS Hong Kong to share during the Chinese New Year! It effectively conveys your warm wishes and enthusiasm for the festive season while also highlighting the significance of the Year of the Dragon. Here are some additional thoughts: **Strengths:** * Warm and welcoming tone. * Mentions key themes of the season: renewal, reflection, and unity. * Connects with the spirit of the Dragon and its symbolism. * Ends with classic Chinese New Year greetings. **Possible enhancements:** * Consider mentioning specific initiatives or events ISS Hong Kong is organizing to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. * You could personalize the message further by mentioning any achievements or milestones ISS Hong Kong achieved in the previous year. * If you have any specific goals or aspirations for the coming year, you could briefly mention them to inspire your audience. Overall, it's a great message that captures the spirit of the season and conveys your best wishes to your Placemakers, partners, and friends.
At ISS Hong Kong, we would like to extend our warmest wishes and heartfelt greetings to all our Placemakers, partners, and friends who are celebrating this traditional occasion. This festive season is a time of renewal, reflection, and unity, and it is with great enthusiasm that we come together to embrace the traditions and customs that make Chinese New Year so special. As we embark on this auspicious year, let us embrace the spirit of the Dragon – a symbol of power, wisdom, and good fortune. May the Year of the Dragon bring us new opportunities filled with joy and endless possibilities. 恭喜發財、龍年大吉! #ISSHK #CNY

“Together, As One United People" is a powerful theme that encapsulates the essence of unity and collaboration in Singapore. As the nation advances as a Smart Nation, every individual plays a vital role in enriching and sustaining the fabric of Singaporean society, contributing to the nation's growth, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Singapore's commitment to becoming a leader in AI is reflected in the National AI Strategy 2.0, which aims to harness AI for public good, ensuring that technology serves to uplift both social and economic potential. This strategy emphasizes the importance of unity, resilience, and inclusivity, as we work towards a brighter future where every individual's unique contributions are celebrated. By fostering a collaborative environment between citizens, businesses, and the government, Singapore is not just embracing technology but actively defining the process of advancement in AI. Together, we will build a cohesive and harmonious community that thrives on innovation and trust. Majulah Singapura! 🇸🇬😊
“Together, As One United People,” is much more than a theme for this year’s National Day Parade. We only truly succeed when we succeed together. And we succeed together by extending respect to each other, regardless of our backgrounds and the contributions we each make. We contribute to Singapore in our own ways. The artists who make the city more vibrant and help us see ourselves differently. The workers, professionals and entrepreneurs who keep our economy humming. The nurses and caregivers who look after those unwell. Those who guard our land, seas and skies. The volunteers who support and encourage anyone with a disadvantage. And all who add something to our country from their heart. Majulah Singapura! #RespectforAll Photos by President's Office and MDDI's Timothy David, Lim Sin Thai, Chwee, Terence Tan and Betty Chua
