Sharing my thoughts on promoting a team member! As a Restaurant Manager, how you will deal with it, when it comes to multiple choices and what is the most important basis that you can come up on choosing the right person that the company can benefit on. From my side, I always weigh and do check first which is for me the most important criteria is the attitude towards work and to his coworker. My biggest reason on that is we need someone to be promoted that the team can worked and support with. I will choose someone who can be a great leader to the team. I always believe that the team can bring you either down or up and "SKILLS CAN BE DEVELOP" so I'd rather choose the person who will be supported fully from the team. I still have a lot to say with regards to promoting someone but I am keeping some of the points for you :-) :-) :-)😁 How about you? What are your reference on promoting someone ? Hope it is not because he is your friend and you have a personal favor to repay for .🤣😂😂 See you again later!

This quote means the world to me. 15yrs ago I was unemployed, working in “bar security” taking the occasional construction labor job. I was living in a basement with little to nothing to my name. I had no vision on where I was going or what I was going to do. Today I am a Production Manager for the largest home improvement companies in Maryland. I faught hard to get where I am. I was a project manager, operations manager, third shift production manager, forklift driver and waiter. Along the way I meant a manager who taught me to always find away, don’t give up and out work the competition. I instill that mentality in my team, and those coworkers around me. With that being said time to time, I like to go back and reread this quote. Don’t be afraid to keep going, you will never know what’s next if you stop trying! #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #MotivationalSpeaking #Mindset #Teambuilding #Ownership #Construction #ProjectManagement

Now our day there's too much competition in the F&B... Managers hide in offices not being on the floor to see how their staffs our performing but rather just relax an watch the CCTV... • Supervisors now and manager ls now care only about taking big salaries but neglect their roles which is the key role... • The competition is too much now and when you have poor management the rest of the team won't be productive and drive to result. Now the question is how to work with your team and to boast your sales 👇 • Dear Managers please follow up with your supervisors if they are giving proper training to staffs ( SOS) Sequence of service. • Do they do check list... • Briefings*** • Catch of the day..? You go in a restaurant now staffs just leave the guest to just say give me coffee wher as the waiter is the light of front of the house, they don't know how to approach a guest.

The ability to listen and understand what others are saying and feeling in any given situation is a powerful tool for anyone who is trying to lead others. Regardless of your position in life or work, you have the ability to listen to someone. This ability can make a difference in someone else’s situation. I make it a habit to tell people that they are awesome…from janitorial staff to managers. It makes no difference when acknowledging another person’s worth.
