I once challenged a company on the need to hire an Engineering Manager They had no problem with delivery, culture, performance and most importantly, didn't plan to grow their teams in next 1 year. I'd think adding a "builder's" POV is a necessary add into company culture. Regardless of where a company is at in their journey, continuing to add a fresh pair of eyes into how products work keeps fueling the fire. Asim what would you say the #1 hard skill is that an engineer can add?
