I am pleased to share with you our contribution to the use of supercritical fluids for the production and sterilization of liposomes. Our work, which has just been published in the International Journal of Pharmaceutics, is the result of two Ph.D. thesis by Dr. Noémie Penoy and Dr. Luc Delma, who developed a method to produce and sterilize liposomes in a one-step process without the use of organic solvents. This technology opens new perspectives for the production and sterilization of liposomes. Special thanks to our #Nanomed Master student internship Nirmayi Homkar for her contribution to this work.
